8.1kWh in the midlands on 5.5kwp split east/south/west. So much for the sunny day forecast.
All so different for sure...12.4 here
Not too bad here, 20.4 on east/south split, 7.9kWp total. Interesting to see peak power on south facing panels 500w over peak rated power of 4.74kWp (12 x 395).
28.9kwh here in galway. Cracking morning but cloud came rolling in for afternoon
Rosmoke
Had friend out today..split unit x 3 and maybe a 5kw...I'll probably only put in splits in, but have one spare for future if needed 😉 awaiting $$$
Solar installed and first days production, very happy with the system (although eddi is not kicking in or seeing surplus, so I have to sort that out!)
A couple of loads of washing, dishwasher done, some juice gone into the car and the lawn mowed all complements if solar!
Broken cloud for most of the day, but not too bad
21.9kWh generated on south facing 22x400w system
Still about 60%left on the battery @ 20:30
Happy days :)
Wait till it gets sunny out! Good sized system. Welcome to the club.
Enjoy 😉
I thought the 6kw inverter wouldn't be able to handle all that power but it seems to be distributing it without any loss?
12.8 for me today , Mayo, east /west split 7.4kwp .
I'm afraid you'll need to ask the tech heads that question! I'm more a spanners man with limited tech experience!
Hi All,
4.8 South facing array installed last Wednesday! Picked up 8KwH today, 62KwH since install!(best day was 22nd with 13.3KwH) feeling sorry now didnt go for the Hybrid and Battery😥 But I have Eddi being delivered soon so hopefully Ill be better able to suck up all this energy😁
I'd say Only 6kw can "leave" the inverter, but looks good. I'm not sure where the actual limit is.
That's some system you have. Are you using 2 inverters with such a large system?
22.4kwh produced yesterday off 6.67kwp in North West , already 22.5kwp produced today, full battery both days and full tank of water
Yep.
46.9 today.
Just 8.4kwh today in Newcastle, Dublin on a 6kw South facing :(
First full day on 8kw system split SE/NW in Cavan and generated 11.3kWh
South east north west here 4/3 split. 12.3 generation today..north county Dublin
Yeah, Dublin was crap the last 2x days. Expected 12.5kWh and 10.9kWh. Ended up getting. 6.11kWh and 6.12kWh. Met Eireann forecast was well off the mark. Rare that it happens to be fair, but yeah. Annoying as I didn't charge anything.
5.6kWh in the midlands on 5.5kwp split east/south/west
15.1kWh today off a 6.84kW array, SSW facing in Roscommon.
Will need the last two days of the month to both do better than that if I'm to match last year, and that was behind forecast as well.
13.8kWh here. SW facing 4.46kWp array in North Co. Dublin.
Self consumption at 88% which I'm pretty happy with. Battery topped up 30-100%, 4kWh into hot water tank (with eddi), and 2 loads of clothes washed and dried.
Welcome to Ireland's finest club :)
We had a splendid day in north west after early high cloud yesterday (26th). 24kWh generated off a 5.6kw/h capacity SW orientated system. 11kwH generated on the 25th which was cloudier than forecast
Yeah they were, way off the mark but so was forecast.solar prediction so after the first bad guess, charged at night to 80%
Car is always thirsty and ready to drink excess if batteries get full anyway.
Having' said that the estimates were at 16khw yesterday and hit 13kwh so not too far off.
I've some custom automation which sets the charge level from night time on a scale. E.g.
6Kwhr expected tomorrow charge to 60%,
7Kwhr expected tomorrow charge to 50%
etc
If the forecast over estimates, then in theory due to it being based off a moving average, the next day is less likely to do the same. However, met.ie screwed me twice - lol! Generally it's pretty good though.
Nice to see that trend increase though as we move into the year. March is just around the corner folks. That's where we see the biggest change.
Gas, your 47kWh in a day is more than half of my Dec :)
Very unpredictable weather this week. Already this morning clouds to bright sunshine and back again to clouds. I saw 4 kWh coming from the panels for the first time this year around 11 o'clock.. I've 4kw south east, 3 kw North West
My lowest in Jan was 0 😂 (snow)
All December generation was 170.
