10788 V 23000 3/4 8PSK DVB-S2
Red Button HD working fine. Dolly Parton singing her heart out ATM 😀
There are 7 channels on that transponder. Can you say image you are using and version. I'm on openatv 6.4 but can try others. And put all the bits to auto that you can then tweak the frequency last digit up or down.
Yes on 23000 3/4, and everything else on Auto.
On OpenATV 7.3
aha theres your answer is that not a beta? Or is it a 2 not a 3?
Sorted it, it was an DVB-S2 signal, not S. Thanks everyone, especially Gerry.
Look at post 1399 CAREFULLY and u never confirmed the 7.3 bit!! I cant find it anywhere
I added BBC1 HD to Other Channels on Sky with:
Frequency: 10847
Polarisation: Vertical
Mode: DVB-S2, 8PSK
Symbol Rate: 23000 (23.0 Mbaud)
FEC: 3/4
It stored fine but getting the 'technical fault...' message when trying to view. Are my settings correct? No problems with BBC RB or BBC2 HD.
BBC One London
10818 V DVB-S2/8PSK 23000 3/4
There are 2 listings for "BBC One HD" on that TP. For some reason only one is working correctly even thought both have EPG data etc.
That worked, thanks.
SID 6941 was the old "BBC One HD" on UK Sky boxes (115) and is now showing "BBC One South East HD" but is carrying EPG data for BBC One HD
SID 6961 was the old "BBC One HD" on ROI Sky boxes (976) with no red button prompt, and now showing error 14 - technical fault and carrying EPG data
Both SIDs will be removed in the coming days as they are no longer being used on any EPG
Also, Freesat is just so much more user friendly for non-techy people than FTA boxes and these BBC changes really proves this with pages of people on here losing BBC services because of frequency changes
You're spot on, fta boxes are a nightmare for either elderly people or non techy people, no offence to either, the BBC channels might settle down now, but at some stage, ITV, CH4, CH5 etc will go on the transponder merry go round as usual and these same people will be missing channels again. My local TV shop tries to sell people Manhattan Freesat boxes ( non recording obviously) and tries to show people the easiest way to switch from Saorview to Freesat.
I've lost BBC Scotland from my other channels on my Sky box in Ireland and can't find any satellite frequencies for it! Had the same problem with BBC Alba but managed to find that. Anyone able to help?
try this 12422 H QPSK DVB-S 2/3 27500.
BBC Scotland HD 10788 V 23000 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK
BBC Alba HD 11023 H 23000 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK
There are two version of Alba, one has occasional English audio (SID 8927).
And for completeness BBC One Scotland HD 11023 H 23000 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK
No signal HD!
No signal for BBC Scotland HD!
There must be something wrong at your end of things. 12422 contains all BBC SD channels and I verified all the HD ones listed above before posting.
BBC Radio 5 Live which I tune into at weekends silent today-is there a new frequency for that does anyone know?
5 live is on 12421 MHz Horizontal 27.5 2/3 QPSK
Don't think it has changed, but that's definitely where it is now.
Just for info its also available on 11023 H, DVB-S2, 8PSK, 23000, 3/4 but for now its id is 8965. bbc planning ahead for next year. No epg yet.
OK Gerry, finally managed to get BBC Scotland SD on 12421 H 27.5 2/3 QPSK. I wonder if HD will eventually turn up somewhere or maybe we're not privileged to get it in Ireland?

As Gerry posted above and I can confirm as I watch it right now BBC Scotland HD is on 10788 V 23000 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK
@Morris Code The frequency/transponder you were listening to BBC Radio 5 Live on up to now - 10803 H - was switched off with some of the BBC SD TV channels in the last few days.
Temporary frequency for the next 12 months as posted - 12422 H 27500 2/3 -
A new permanent frequency will most likely appear soon for the BBC radio channels.
I looked to scan either of those transponders 12422 and 12421 and neither appear on list of transponders??
It's probably a new transponder and so will have to be added to the list manually using the parameters posted above, 12421 or 12422, doesn't matter which, only 1 MHz difference
They are new transponder settings so you will probably have to enter the details manually.
Are you in Ireland using a Sky box?
Great-got it on 12422 entered manually. Thanks to all who responded-much appreciated
