100%. Would have to be if the apartment sleeps 8. A 2 bed thats had both bedrooms subdivided.
Landlord pulling in €3400 a month for a small 2 bed.
Grim.
Jesus how desperate would have to be to go a head with the rental. Sharing a room with a stranger. I done it though when I was younger doing an apprenticeship through Fás 22 odd years ago. I was 17 and the room was big so no big deal. The guy I was sharing with was in college and left after a few weeks so I ended up with the room to myself. But still I would not do it now or even for the passed 20 years. And the kitchen isn't even that big for the number of tenants.

Well this one is interesting (has it been mentioned before?). It has to belong to a certain segment of the population.
I didnt think it was too bad until I got to pic 8. yowzers
The outside extension area is a bit much, but on the whole it shouts of a very careful owner taking good care of it. None of the decor would be all that difficult to adjust a bit, bit of wallpapering alright! But it looks like a good house for the money, I'd say it will go above asking price.
What the hell happened this estate? I know a lot of the houses were rentals due to being so close to the IT(college). I remembered boarded up houses in rough area's in the 80's. But this doesn't look too ran down well apart from all the houses boarded up or smashed windows. I lived in Athlone for a while but was never in this estate. I drove along the main road the IT is on many times but never ventured into these estates. If you go down the road there are more vacant houses.
Not the segment of the population I think you are referring to … but, very over designed… but kind of tastefully in a porcelain doll type way. Not my taste, but somebody’s.
Picture is over 10 years old, though
Decor not to everyone's taste but the house seems to be very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Just wondering though, is the bath covered over and if so why would that be? Pic 22 & 23. Also what is the item between the microwave and iron in Pic 24?
That house in Portarlington almost looks like nobody ever lived in it, just kept adding in more and more flounces and frills in the decor.
Not my taste at all, but with a bit of a clear out, it looks like a fine house, and is certainly well kept.
Looks like a somewhat old fashioned radio/record player. I doubt it is though.
Its an infamous estate in Athlone you'll see it mentioned frequently in the courts.
With a coffee machine, air fryer and microwave there, I'm going to guess it's some sort of cooking appliance.
There used to be this mansion on the out skirts of either Roscommon, Athlone or Longford towns.(I for get the exact place) well anyway this traveller supposedly owned it and there was a caravan at the side of the house and he was suppose to live in the caravan. How true that is is anybody's guess.
I drove past it a long time ago and the person driving told me the same story. We were on the way to strokestown.
Think it's on the way into Longford from Edgeworthstown if I remember correctly. Story as I heard it was the king of a certain group lived there and when he dies(d) as he was king, the home where he died would be burnt to the ground so he was put into the caravan at night. Again could be rubbish but it always gave me a laugh driving past.
This house is just like a time capsule! But you can see it was well loved and cared for I actually love the doors on the kitchen cupboards, it would be nice if they were kept in some shape or form

more likely to be used for firewood in view of the BER G
that sounds possible. it is definitely on the way to strokestown.
Big old Belfast sink with the pipes running along the wall. It's like something from a
museum but I like it. Reminds me of a spinster Aunt's house that you would visit on
a Sunday and you were warned not to touch anything.
"Big old Belfast sink with the pipes running along the wall."
Qualpex pipes at that!
If anyone is thinking about a place in London, this would suit nicely...
Its not even the most expensive house in Belgravia
Good lord!!!! The world is gone mad.
My ungrateful asshole kids would take pleasure in walking all sorts of **** into the floor there
and destroy the walls with greasy hands because they take exception to using cutlery.
A ‘safe’ shower and a flat screen are the only concessions to modernity. I’d like to think that there is a Fiat Panda or Renault 5 in the garage on pre-1987 reg plate.
Average prices here are mind boggling

If you think they are expensive here is a mansion on 5th avenue in New York facing Central Park. yours for only $80M
Carlos Slims house. The one time richest man in the world.
That would be Piano Nobile not Piano Noble. If you are going to be pretentious, get it right.
Twenty eight million for a terraced house!
