The town seems dead the last few years of punchestown .I can’t see why the town doesn’t embrace like it used to do and have the street festivals and week long activities.
Nice weather for Punchestown at last. Anyone going out?
Ring Shaq.
TKR alarms.
It was an upgrade to our existing system. We did have to change the overall system some years ago to allow remote monitoring but that then allowed an easy upgrade to the wireless sensors.
p.s. We use Enfield Alarms who are fine.
Upgrading the existing system or getting a new one?
We did this last year. Nearly all sensors are wireless now, so no drilling needed.
Anyone recommend an alarm engineer?
Will need to have sensors removed as new windows going in and new sensors attached without drilling into the new windows
Where did you hear that?
Hi, bit of a specific query so hopefully someone can help. Planning a move to naas from Dublin with husband and two small kids. Looking at a few houses but current front runner is in aylmer estate. My youngest is 18 months and has a diagnosis of a genetic condition, likely to attend mainstream school but need some supports and have both physical and learning issues. His diagnosis is new, we are new to navigating services and waiting lists are crazy. Any fellow additional needs parents living in naas have any feedback for schools, services and community disability network supports in the area? Living in alymer, where would school options be? Thanks for all and any advice.
I don’t believe so. It’s out of the catchment area so the schools would unlikely cater for another bus coming in and out of the bus lay-bys (it gets mental there in the mornings)
Hi, has anybody heard anything about a direct provision centre going in at swan Dowlings in Naas?
Hi everyone! Was wondering if anyone knows/is aware of a private operator/school bus providing service between Naas and Scoil Bhride in Clane?? Thanks in advance.
Yeah looked at Sanctuary Synthetics but they're crazy expensive. I'll check out fake grass Ireland.
Fake grass Ireland are based in Kildare. I really dislike fake grass but have seen their work and it’s good
Sanctuary synthetics I'd go with firstly.
That's their gig.
Or a landscaping company can put it down for you.
Any recommendations for someone to install artificial grass?
No, when I did it I was with Energia
Cheers, not with electric Ireland though, I assume you need to be a customer of theirs already?
Hi guys, I’m looking at knocking an internal wall between the kitchen and dining room.
Would anyone have any recommendations on someone who could do this for me? Thanks
I got it done through Electric ireland, if you already have one that is no help though !
Anyone recommend someone to fit a home car charger?
Yes, it was for a dell laptop, no luck in power city or currys but Harvey Norman had it for 50 euro
Did you get sorted? There’s a place called Green IT in lady town business park. They’re online or you can call them
Looking for a laptop charger lead that will fit the outlet in the pic, where’s the best place to look around Naas.
Still in with a decent chance here, all to play for in the second half.
howyiz!
Anyone living in Devoy Quarter apartments? Considering moving into a duplex there and just wondering if anyone is currently living there/has live there can say if they're decent apartments or not. Bit hesitant as it says it's a duplex (even though it doesn't really look like one), so concerned about it being extra noisy etc, thanks!
I moved an electrical socket to the corner of the room closest to where the router was in the inside of the house. Bought a TP-Link AC1750 extender and plugged it in the moved electrical outlet. Ran a CAT7 from the extender to his PC. Now he gets about 300Mbps instead of the original 70Mbps. We had a Nighthawk extender previously and I would not recommend them at all.
Got fed up myself chasing after people so bought a cable in Harvey Normans and passed mine through a cupboard space to attic and down side wall where light switch was in the box room (our office). Yeah, if it can't be done cleanly it would best to look around online for the cool, sleek solutions. what did you do in the end, @[Deleted User] ?
No, I found an alternate solution that didn't involve drilling through exterior walls. The prices I was quoted were a joke.
