Unfortunately you will need to go with changing your configuration if you want the grant.....
Personally I'd go with the white interior and skip the paint.....
That’s a pity.
Not a fan of the white paint at all, but that’s a very personal preference.
Black interior isn't actually too bad on a Model 3.
It's just my personal preference to prioritise white interior over the paint
Just get the white and get it wrapped.
the savings by getting the grant will pay for 2 wraps for the car!!
Humm, interesting.
Can you clean and polish a wrapped car?
Are the headlights fully adaptive LED Matrix (full beam stay on and shine light around oncoing traffic) on a new M3?
Matrix but not adaptive. Not yet anyway.
The hardware is there but the software to control it is not there "yet".
It might be enabled or it might not in true Tesla style, its coming... maybe
Yes.
Not overly impressed with the boot lights so got a LED strip from AliExpress

Hi all, looking for some opinions.
I've a 221 model 3 MIC with the 55kw LFP battery. 30k km on the clock.
What's the general opinion on a trade in value?
Looking at either an EV6 or Ioniq 5.
Thanks
You have a 60kWh battery, model 3 used value all over the shop with imminent model Y deliveries
I was thinking of doing this too.
First, I was tired of the rims not protecting the alloys, so I replaced them.
Can i ask why EV6 or Ioniq 5?
@asdasdadad looking for more of "family" car with a bigger battery option.
@slave1 no, it's an early 221 model so the smaller battery
All 2022 models are 60kWh, perhaps you mean 211?
Meant to say, got the variable/auto heated steering wheel update earlier in the week, this was an update I was looking forward to.
Strangely I lost the ability to control airflow but once I changed from AC to Auto and back again it returned.
You get 1 month free premium connectivity which includes a Spotify car account (no login needed). This also gives the satellite view for maps which I've grown to love.
Mud flaps come with car, but alot of people (myself included) get after market ones. Be sure to get the type that don't need drilling holes into your car. I only installed the rear ones and they needed a fair bit of elbow grease to get on.
There are a few after market items you might want to get. If I get a chance I will photo and list mine on here for you. I got the common ones like mats and storage.
You get a months free trial so no need to decide now, you pay by month and can cancel anytime.
Handy for Spotify, TuneIn, watching Netflix etc
I would 1,000% recommend Premium Connectivity,
but just to note the video & music streaming, as well as internet browser can still be used without Premium Connectivity… you just need to use your phone as a hotspot, which for me when I tried doing this for a few weeks after my free trial ended, was a pain in the hole.
I subscribed in July 2020 and have kept it ever since. It’s €0.32 per day and for the convenience of always being connected, it’s so so worth it.
Not to mention satellite view is a million times nicer to look at too…
@slave1 my bad. You are correct. It's a 211 🙈
Just do the maths. The bigger battery in the EV6 is less efficient than the model 3. Recent Dublin Galway trip at steady 120km/h uses 23 kWh/100km. The Model 3 is much more efficient than this and does the same trip using less battery.
I added mudflaps. The oem ones are crap.
@Gumbo do you have an EV6 also?
What's your opinion of them?
Friend does.
lovely car. My wife wants one next after her PHEV. I personally don’t like them. I would have an Ioniq 5 over one but that’s personal choice.
Satellite view is free though on google maps if ever use that.
live cams are incredible. In se Asia atm and great to be able to look around car. Only included if you pay the sub. Ok a bit of boasting in pub. 🤣🤣
Yeah, but in the Model 3 if you want that same satellite view on the screen you need Premium Connectivity
