Looks like the US has realised this conflict and the rate of developments isn't conducive to taking 9 months to over a year to provide weapons that were needed months ago.

But there has been protests in Russia do you not remember the last time more were called up. The police were just called in and loads arrested and probably deported to the front lines. Russia is a big place with loads of rural ansmd isolated areas and the only news they get is Russian. Russia is ruled by an elite probably former old USSR people and elections are not exactly free. I dispare hoe people on here just think it will be an easy take out 1 guy and all will be rosy. My advice COD and those games are not how thing happen

Same way protests have been stopped numerous time the police and internal army in Russia. You think they are all in Ukraine and the populace can just take over.

I came across one of those click bait links a couple of days ago, the usual annoying set up where there's a sentence and a photo on each of the pages. It described Putin as having five different levels of security, the last one being his own "army" that was set up in 2016.
It would be a hell of a problem for an outsider to take him out, unless they managed to fool him completely and become a member of one of the various levels. That person would have to have been embedded for the long haul, because a recent addition would be watched like a hawk by all concerned.
If Putin went shopping in IKEA he'd probably want something longer than this....
