I'd be checking Tesla Ireland website for inventory of new cars, bound to start populating as likes of me cancel orders
I feel a lot of people have switched to the Y, you know the older family types..😁 so perhaps a few more Model 3's will become available earlier. Keep a watch out on inventory cars

I've still got a Estimated Delivery of "Feb-March" despite no VIN. (M3 LR)
Haven't received any correspondence from Tesla since placing the order, so I'm not hopeful they'll actually deliver in March.
Current car is barely hanging on for life, so I'm getting a bit tetchy ☹️
I ordered our M3 RWD (White) 2 weeks ago, also for April/May delivery.. praying it's earlier too .. definitely everything crossed. Strangely I received a call from Tesla via a nottingham number on Tuesday just to tell me that my account is all in order, confirm that it was straight cash sale with no trade in and then said I just have to "sit tight and wait for a car to be assigned"... pointless phone call LOL
Really? Hope you’re right, mine say Apr-May as well. I texted the office and no vin yet and nothing guaranteed until they’ve assigned a car to the order. Fingers crossed!

AFAIK it's based on the address you register the car at. So you could register to a friend/relatives address in Dublin and then change the address after the car is registered.

silly question but do they just assign a number plate based on county you live or could you request a D reg if you lived in Galway?
I have my Y RWD/White October delivery date at end of March, haven't accepted USS removal though so doubt I'll be taking it

No, the interest is around 2320 roughly. IT's becuae of VRT and SEAI it seems.

All that happens is the registered purchaser/s sign an ipad. That's it, no grandiose handover like back in the day

The price your paying is €49359 the interest your paying is about €5237 so basically to add the €5237 to €14369 = €19606 add to €29750=€49356.
I think that car price doesn't include vrt and seai grant.
What you have to look at anyways i think is you're paying 30k (29,750 due + 250 deposit you've paid) and will finance 14,369€ = total 44,370€ which matches your order agreement with a few cents rounding discrepancy.
I am sure this has been answered many times but regarding the price to pay and the price in the order agreement:
44370.12 including VAT.
But in the website the car comes at 45.970 and then all the deposits/credits are applied.
What's the story here?
I spoke to a guy with a Scottish accent yesterday, he was fairly emphatic that they were still matching VINs to orders, so maybe give it another week.
I don’t want to take the blame, as we all know Tesla are unpredictable 😁 but I would think that wouldn’t be the worst course of action - or you could hold out a few more days until the current round of ships go through the Suez Canal

Glad you got sorted. Tip for anyone else, always wait until around 1pm or after if calling as you'll likely get through to David who's part of the Irish delivery team. I find him to be the most knowledgeable and helpful.
Right so long story short I chanced ringing Tesla for the 4th time (Over 2 weeks) just to see if there's any chance they can book me in for a collection slot.
I seemed to be one of the only people on here without one on the Hoegh Chiba.
Unlike the last 3 people he said no problem, 12pm Sat 25th.
I was like why didn't just do that 2 weeks ago, but anyway at least its tied down now :)
Maybe be a tip for anyone waiting. 3pm Sat was also available I think
There’s a write up of hw4 that was removed from a model x I think it was. It’s reckoned that it’s in some cars just not adbeetised prior to march 1. That and radar was stripped down and looked at so it exists in some capacity out there already.
