So I drove nearly 400km yesterday around the country and I see why the Dublin/GDA based numbers are a lot higher than mine. Man it was sunny yesterday for hours until I reached Gorey on my return journey. Arrived home to a pathetic 4kWh.

23.2kWh today. Electricians in today trying to fix the battery issues I've been having. The batteries are disconnected now and hopefully they can get them right tomorrow when they come back. The Eddi isn't picking up on any excess solar either and only works when manually boosted. I seem to have been a bit unlucky with some of the equipment.

The Met.ie one comes from the great work some of the guys on the forums shared on this thread here: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058224611/solar-pv-monitoring-automation-thread#latest and the other is just the Forecast.Solar integration and both are fed into Home Assistant.
Broke the 20kWh barrier today, virtually all before 1PM when dense clouds moved in and production fell off a cliff
Purposely didn't charge the battery overnight and started day at 40% SOC to leave plenty of room to soak up the forecasted sunshine.
The sunshine (predicted by both Met and Solcast) never materialised and I'm now at 29% SOC at 18:00. 🙄
Few day units to be bought before night rate kicks in I think.
Still charged to 80% because predictions don't mean squat these days and not afraid getting that wrong, if battery gets full car can soak anything over.
And met.ie was correct:
With fit of 21 cents and night rate of 10 cents for charging the battery it probably still makes sense to charge at night and export regardless of solar generation forecast?
Deemed export means I get paid anyway.
So you get paid regardless which is a nice place to be. If not on deemed might as well charge?

I've wondered this. My super night rate is 12 cents and my export is 21 cents, I'm with EI. Surely I fill up my battery at super night rate every single day of the year.
i guess there's a satisfaction element of saying you used less grid import and more of your own solar generation but im happy going with the solution that makes most financial sense.. struggling at bit with the eddi as i figure might be cheaper heating water with the gas but it is very convenient at the same time
Factor in night rate plus 20% for battery losses. So yeah, still cheaper for you to fill battery at night and export during day. Though tax is due after 200 euro of FIT AFAIK. 950kWh at 21C FIT.
FYI I just had my BER and the assessor said AC does not matter in their calculations, even for secondary heat source (only if it's a heat pump). His explanation was that "in their eyes they see it as 100% efficient" even though they are 2-500% efficient, same as heat pump.

Only 5.6 kwh today from 3kwp sw + 1 ne and its a cloudy finish but am happy enough. it was quite a cloudy day and am nearly hitting peak power - saw 2800w sustained. so it covered a good amount of washing/drying/cooking load.
My system finally starting to pick up a bit, have had awful shading since Nov on my 4kW West array but it's starting to produce some now. Also have 1.6kW on a flat roof so the low angle is not helping at this time of year but it's also starting to improve a bit. Managed to get 9.3kWh today which is much better than the 2-3kWh I was getting in Nov-Jan

Sunny day yesterday in east Wicklow. By far the best day since install 4 weeks ago. 36.8kwh generated from 8.7kwp system, south, 30 deg pitch. Inverter maxed out for about 3 hrs. 22.5kwh exported, but on deemed FIT. Waiting on EV (end of March) to make use of all this excess.
