The US president would never be sent into an active war zone without a security guarantee. Threatening Russia with retaliation != a security guarantee. Having F22s alongside != a security guarantee. Special forces from Poland coming over in retaliation to kick some ass != a security guarantee.
They would never take such a massive risk with their head of state unless they had confirmation from Russia that they would be safe to visit. That confirmation would be got through level headed negotiation, not via threats.

I do agree to a certain extent, but in a larger move, I would imagine the loss of US trade but factoring in the acquisition of Taiwanese trade has definitely been wargamed

Undoubtedly part of it. It is in neither countries interests to have anything happen to Biden. I'm sure Russia did in fact give guarantees that nothing would befall Biden - its certainly infinitely more likely than the Biden government threatening to go to war with Russia.
