They are sh1te….. and they must be on auto now to use AutoPilot….
at night for me living by the coast, they’ll happily wipe away when there’s no rain….
they worked fine before, but Tesla Vision has completely fcuked them up.
Just raise them up yourself…..
It's a bit silly that you can only do 1 side at a time, but I've often had to make small adjustments to them..
now though I just park on level ground (local Tesco carpark) and auto level them.. which I need to do after every software update now (as my driveway is a slight incline, and software updates seem to level them based on that incline!)
Tripe, can't stand them
I find the main beams good but dipped lights poor. When you aren’t blinding oncoming traffic they are too low. Have had them checked at Sandyford but came back even worse.
Park the car so the headlights are about 5m back from a wall at night, roll down the windows and turn on the light show in the toybox to fully appreciate the LED lights.
I have found them to be fine. On a couple of occasions, I have tapped the wash button to get it going, but mostly I have had no issue with it. Certainly no worse than any previous car I've owned.
The auto wipers on the M3 are absolutely brutal.
Anyone already with the M3 how bad are the auto wipers? Anything I've seen mentioned on them has been negative.
Fixed with last update, grand now
Find the autobeams good since the update in December, had them turned off for 2yrs before that
Auto High Beam lights are horrible but lights overall are one of the best on the market in my opinion.
TollTag.ie IMO
Say No.
It can be tracked but it doesn’t have a tracker in the traditional sense. The insurance companies haven’t copped on to the inbuilt systems. They will still ask for a thatcham approved tracker.
Easier to say no.
Guys, quick one, best option for tolls?
I've put it as a no. How much would having one reduce your premium by? And what's your potential loss if the insurance company try to use it as a wriggle out clause in the event of it being stolen?
The Tesla app can be used to locate the car if there is mobile signal there at the time of inquiry. The tracking does not store any historical data so if the car was towed somewhere underground and you didn't happen to refresh the location while this was happening you are out of luck.
They are the exact same....
What updates did the 2023 M3 get over a 2023 M3 (RWD for both).
Newer suspension, removal of the parking sensors, anything else?
Call back.
Not sure if anyone has any experience with this, but when I went to place my order it turned out I already had a Tesla account. I've wanted this car for like 3 years but I genuinely have no idea when, or for what reason I would have created an account.
Either way, I moved house last month, but my order went through on my old address. The bank can't proceed with my loan offer without having an order agreement with my current address on it. I called Tesla today and they said no problem, that they changed it on my order agreement. But hours later it's still showing the old one.
Would this take a few days to reflect? Or am I best off calling Tesla back tomorrow?
But they were not tooling changes, the refresh could be structural casting improvement, we simply don't know
I ordered at the end of October 2020 and took delivery in December 2020.
The car I received ended up being the 2021 refresh model - that I wasnt expecting at all.
It's likely already on the boat for next month
I went with matt screen protector. The small cost is worth it. Less finger prints and offers some protection. Better the protector is damaged than the screen which didn't have a protector. Its grand until it isn't.
If an order is placed for a Model 3 and delivery is expected Apr/May, is it likely the car is already built or it could it be built after the the tooling change?
Matt finish
I have one of these from Amazon. Washable and resealable apparently - But Ive never had the need to take it off & its a perfect fit. Also doesnt show the fingerprints which is a bonus. Does have a small logo at the bottom but doesnt worry me.
I wanted a matte finish as I found I was getting bad sun glare reflections off the screen around sunrise/sunsets when heading east/west at certain times on the motorways.
Hatch won't happen as the beam holding the liftgate hinges would be exactly where the rear passenger heads are. I still think that the car was supposed to be a liftgate like a Model S but packaging turned out to be impossible. The Y is sufficiently higher to accommodate this.
One year with Tesla Model 3, I've not used a screen protector and so far, so good. The screen does need a wipe every now and again, once the fingerprints become too distracting.
No grabbers anymore and haven’t bothered with protector. Don’t think I will either.
