UCC campus is the nicest 3rd level campus in Ireland in my opinion. It's other wordly.

I saw the vilest thing when at the shop earlier.
I was walking in the door and a family, mother and teenagers coming out.
Teenage girl, hocks a chewing gum like a spit from her mouth onto the ground, literally 3 feet from a bin, and in the path of someone to walk on it. Cretin.
Then in the shop, 2 teenage girls in pyjamas buttons perusing the aisles. One had a fleece bottom, the other's was like a leotard, hugging her arse cheeks.
I despair 😏

I've been in both and I think UCC is the best. In saying that UCG has the odd pretty spot.
Just done at the tech desk after a day of real work and a grocery shop and cooking a big pot of chicken curry. The girls had some of that. Mrs G is busted with menopause stuff and Ms G is in rotten form due to the JC mocks starting on Monday. Both are in bed so I'm treating myself to a cold beer followed by a nice lamb shank with spuds and veg and maybe a slice of Tiramisu. A movie as well unless work emails disturb it. But they will not disturb my food!
Been out for a long walk to clear the head.
It's like a warm hairdryer out there.

Yes I lived in a Spanish territory for three years. Ate late evening and it's a habit that never left me. Back then it was literally due to the local culture and lack of feckin flies at night! These days it's more about enjoying a good meal in peace!
In the leaba and a good meal done with dessert. Movie search. Back to the grind in the morning.
I prefer evening dinners but that's about 6pm.
I'd be starved waiting until later.
My friend's dad is originally from Spain and he literally eats nothing substantial all day, despite physical work, then his main meal around 9pm.
I am indeed and am like catnip for the Indian boys but no Prince Charming yet.
I paid €42 for 2 cocktails last night and €16 for a bottle of Ashai beer. So he better hurry the f**k up and rescue me.
On a separate note, anyone know the going rate for a semi-healthy kidney?

OH is showing a workman around who will (hopefully) be doing badly needed things around our place in the coming weeks - so another reason to hide in the home office/spare room. 😁
