I think you’re right. Looks like two separate yards. Looks very odd on the eircode map (if that’s accurate)
The "courtyard" is about 10 ft x 5 feet. Enough for a wheelie bin and maybe a bike
Home of Captain Bligh, of HMS "Bounty" fame - not so sure about the union jack kitchen. Quirky house especially lil rabbit on the roof
The home of Captain Bligh of Mutiny on the Bounty fame is for sale — but safe to say he might not recognise it if he woke up there today... - Country Life
I love that outdoor table. the rest of the decor is perhaps not to my taste. especially the toilet.
That is gorgeous.
lovely house, decor is shocking. Agree the outdoor seating area is lovely
I can only get the one photo up? Help!
..
Phone, desktop, browser?
Working ok for me, try copying the address into Daft.
Are you using Chrome? Myhome.ie never loads correctly for me in Chrome. I have to use microsoft edge to view myhome.ie
Go to Myhome.ie home page. Agree to the stupid cookies and then you can navigate to other pages
How about a whole abandoned barracks complete with moat? Offers over 500k welcome. might come in handy for any future apocalyptic events
I do not know what you would buy that for. Yes it's a cool building and you would have great conversations telling people you live there but you'd want to be McGregor rich to fix it up as it would cost quite a few millions to do that.
What an epic addition to this thread. I wonder how much it will go for in the end. Thanks!
Does it include the "barn find" in pic 22?. 😂
Look at that kitchen for all of 12,500 per square metre...
That was just posted a few days ago in the thread and well discussed here too.
So bad it deserves a second shaming. Euro for euro a contender for most shocking I’ve seen on here.
That's more per square foot than a multimillion dollar Manhattan penthouse lol
This house was sold for 140k in 2021 I think 395k is ridiculous money given its a BER c3 with electric heating
Ireland is thriving on greed for the last 20 years.
have they changed with the house much in the 2 years?
You do get a very unusual curved wall with it though. That's gotta be worth at least 50k
Is it actually curved, though?
Or is it just some desperate lens-trickery to make it appear (relatively) bigger?
I doubt the rad is curved, and it looks pretty flush to the wall.
It isn't. I was taking the piss, it's the lens they use to make it look bigger
I was a little pre-occupied to get any joke.
Anyway back on topic that Sligo house looks like it was done up recently. Cost of building materials have gone through the roof like everything else. But saying that they will still be making a decent profit from the sale even when when taking into account the building materials and cost of trades people(well unless they done the work themselves).
This could be stunning if renovated properly.
