I'm surprised that more people haven't been offered slots yet. maybe they are slowly working through them, I assume a lot of the cars are on the same Boat Hoegh CHIBA.

What have you to sell Mantis? Donedeal is the most popular place and probably has the broadest reach including those who are looking to buy private.
I just contacted dealers directly when selling mine (ended up contacting 12 in total until I got a price i was happy with and knew was unlikely to be beaten) rather than put it up.

Looking at insurance quotes today and most company’s won’t give a quote until they have the reg 🙈

You might be surprised. Maindealers wouldn't but depending on condition and mileage smaller outfits might.
Donedeal is probably your best bet though by the sounds of it.

Got my request from Tesla to sign my SEAI grant form.
Does that usually happen this early? I have no VIN, delivery timeframe of April/May and financing hasn’t even been approved yet
I signed the SEAI grant this afternoon as well. EDD window is still Feb 24 - Mar 11. No visible VIN, but have it hidden in the source code and confirmed on the Hoegh Chiba ship.
How long did it take others from signing SEAI grant to getting the delivery appointment confirmed?
Just got SEAI email also, have a delivery date / timeslot though.
I signed SEAI form last week, have the VIN but no slot. I guess the sequence is rather random:)

We'll probably not take our RWD and will hold on for a LR. But would like to hold off on the RWD cancel decision as long as possible to see if any more information becomes available on the Q2 shipment.
Yes, only if you transfer the RWD order to me. Strange requirement I know!
I believe you should be able to back out, but why would yo go ahead with it if you're not taking the car?

At the moment, the word from Tesla is that there will be a 2nd ship in Q2 in which case we will wait until then to get the LR we ordered on Jan 13th.
But if between now and our collection date for the RWD in March, Tesla were to say, we're no longer so sure about a Q2 delivery for some reason, then we'd take the RWD we ordered in Nov.
MY RWD with induction wheels - ordered the day of the price change in January. Still just Feb - March as estimated delivery date.
No hidden VIN or exact date so kinda assuming we missed the proverbial and physical boat! Hopefully reports of second delivery in H1 are correct.
I think 3-4 days here? SEAI forms on Tuesday last, returned on Wednesday morning, then got email and text for booking on Friday.
I'm in pretty much same position, both ordered no VIN.
What will you do if Tesla offer a RWD, decision must be made quickly and no guarantee of LR ?

I wish they'd hurry up with the delivery slots... have a VIN,filled in the SEAI forms 2 weeks ago. Car is on the boat. Come on ffs!!!
