i typed in the VIN I received ( which then disappeared) and it just produced details of the origin and destination

How do I know that ? , I saw no reference to any details bar where the ship originated and it’s destination,
When you type in the VIN it tells you what boat it's on and when it's due to land, what more do you want?
I think you're best off just chilling and waiting for the call to collect from tesla.

Nothing general about it, you put in the tracking number and it's either on the boat or not!
I’m chilled Gumbo , said earlier in the thread that it’s beyond my control when it arrives as I made no changes since I ordered in November, just trying to educate myself about the tracking process

It really is that simple.
The boat carrier lists the vins of all on board cars. Your VIN showed up on that boat.
So may I ask what information will indicate to me that my order is on the boat ?, all I saw when I inputted the VIN ( I received February 1st but which then disappeared from account and still gone ) was details of where boat left and is destined for

I think the issue is that you don’t understand what a VIN is.
The VIN you got from your Tesla account uniquely identifies your car. Not a spec of a car or a model but your exact and allocated car.
If you enter that VIN into the Hoegh website and it returns a hit it means your allocated car is on that boat and hence will be in zeebrugge on 2 Mar and in Dublin a week or so later and then you will have a collection date shortly after that… so you’ll get your car from approx 10 Mar onwards.

Yeah hoping it might shift back abit. Had a buyer lined up for my own car but can't risk being without for months rather than weeks.
