I probably would myself if I’ve the choice. I’d rather have the the extra bit of sleep and work out in the morning before classes instead of getting up early and driving on the Monday morning but I’ll have a better idea on when I get down to there

At the risk of sounding more inept than normal "dress professionally" means wear a suit right?
Has anyone had or heard of anyone having a BMI of 31 being flagged by HQ after the medical even though everything else is perfect? There seems to be a bit of variance with it.

Injured myself a week before my fitness and physically can’t run on my ankle. Would there usually be any problems with deferring the fitness test

Im in batch 8 and done interview recently. Anyone in batch 7 how long were yee waiting for results?
I’ve all my local meetings etc done since November and I’m still waiting so it just varies, as far as I know when your form b is sent to HQ by your local inspector thats when your vetting starts some get theirs quicker than others it’s all luck
I am batch 4 have had my meeting with the sergeant 2 weeks ago and am still waiting myself. Not sure about the intake situation but it’s cutting very close.

I'm in Batch 5 and I met with the Sergeant this day last week and I haven't heard anything else. I was hoping to get going in the February intake. Does anyone know if it's too late for that intake or is anyone in a similar situation?

@AshleyOH23 the local inspector rang me last week . They sent back my application to check my civil status , he told me he would ring them before he sent it back to check if there was anything else and he never came back to me so just waiting now again. It's to late for me to go in Feb now so hopefully may
Did anyone here do the Garda IP stage 3 interview course ? Is it worth the 300€ ? Or does anyone recommend any other course? Thank you

Hey! @LAK23 Well done first of all! I was the same and just kept calling to get an appointment with occupational health! Would be no harm giving them a ring to advise you’re ready for your review!
I think they’d maybe take it in to consideration if you’re extremely fit and lean? If not you’re given three months to get your BMI down. I did this and just had review yesterday.
Anyone here on the intake starting in February? If so, has anyone received their information pack yet?
