Hello All,
I am looking forward to switch from S22 Ultra to S23 Ultra.
Any idea what free goodies we may fetch this time if we order it pre-launch?
Supposedly launch will be in end of Feb 2023.
Thanks
I got the same update at 20:05 with DPD, Fingers crossed we get it tomorrow be a lovely Saturday!
Got same, will get it Monday morning so.
What cases has has everyone went for? I'm looking for the wallet style but can't seem to find any, Samsung don't seem to have any on their site
I went for a dbrand case just because of mrwhostheboss on YouTube. I usually went for a thin Spigen for the past couple of years
I've got a black ESR Boost Kickstand from amazon de
I was looking for it and couldn't find it.
Could you please share the link with me?
What do people think of upgrading from an iPhone 12 for the ultra? It wasn’t on my radar but can get it for around €800 with trade in and discount.

Thanks.
Shipping is extra even though I am a prime member. I will wait until its available on UK website.
UK Prime doesn't count on any of the other Amazon sites unfortunately
I just ordered the otterbox strada black leather case, looks a little bulky but I'll see how I get on with it....... Coming from a fold 3 so all in all can't be much bulkier than that was
MKBHD full review is up... Very positive
Bought this cover
I like the idea of the added lense cover and dual purpose kickstand. Arriving Monday.
Ordered this case for time being.
Delivery on Sunday.
JETech Case for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G 6.8-Inch, Non-Yellowing Shockproof Bumper Protective Phone Cover, Anti-Scratch Hard PC Back (Clear) https://amzn.eu/d/32c1ZAZ
I went with Samsung's own rugged case for 44e. Seems modular on the back side so cant be that bad I guess :D
On s22u I used transparent case with the kickstand, but with small kids in the house, I want to futureproof myself :D
Any deliveries today? 📸😂
Nope. Still "travelling through the network"
It'll probably show on Monday. Likely that Samsung/Exertis didn't go for the weekend delivery option.
I did get an email this morning about the trade in programme though. Won't open on the phone though for some reason. Must check on the laptop.
I got trade in programme email Friday morning.
It's nothing special, just that within 7 days we must return old phone and they will send prepaid envelope.
Important Note:
Last year AnPost did not recognise Samsung prepaid labels to return the old phone.
DPD have just called but no phone, pet food 😞. When I seen the van pull up I thought I was right. 😂 looks like Monday
I have decided not to trade my S22 Ultra 256Gb as i feel the upgrade is not enough this year and the S21ultra trade in price is only €115 euro less. So ill wait a year. So ill be very interested in reviews of people who have upgraded from the S22 ultra.
Many of us are moving from S22 Ultra to S23 Ultra including me.
Better camera and better battery are the two main factors for me.
Anyone know if you can drop a return into Exertis? It's right beside my work and would save on reg post.
Harvey Norman had a demo S23 Ultra on display. Had a play around with it, very nice, it has quite a bit of crap like Facebook, Netflix and OneDrive installed on it with the option to uninstall greyed out though.
Do Samsung preload a load of non-removable crapware by default or is the phone in some kind of locked down retail demo mode?
IIRC, there is a specific demo mode.
Which probably limits options removal / installation.
Does that mean Samsung won't send prepaid registered post labels?
Found this info on their email.
That's for trade ins. Unfortunately the return slip that came with my Fold states I have to pay registered post to return it. This is not reimbursed.
It says freepost packaging.
Not free post packaging.
I dropped mine into post office last year with the freepost packaging. Didn't have a problem.
What's the difference between two?
Did you pay for the postal service to return the trade in?
I did not.
Freepost means the package is freepost i.e the receiver pays the bill.
Free post packaging is packaging for postal purposes given to you free. :)
So you did pay for the shipping charges.
