Not normally but we are currently in a transition from the old higher prices to the new more in line prices.
It was inevitable to happen. I bought 3 teslas since 2020 making near €20k profit. That’s not normal!
If you’re the type of person that would be caught for phishing then you have every right to worry.
But, you got the email from Tesla, the details will be correct.
Send €1 and you’ll see that hit your account. Then send whatever you want.
The dearer one has white interior which is a €1200 extra I believe. Tax might account for the rest.
The higher one has the upgraded white interior.
Maybe he didn’t get a chance to deal with any other dealers, everyone know that dealers always give low ball offers and better to sell car privately.
I remember when I got trade in offer for my 2 year old Leon FR of 13,000€ which was bought for 28,000€…
I sold the car 3 years later for 15,000€….

Aside from the black M3 with alloys, was there any other Model 3 added to inventory earlier today that may be gone already? Seems strange with a boat on the way only one stock M3 on it!
There was a m3 Demo LR 1203km on the clock was €52239.I guess someone has bought it seem like people in uk are getting there vin while in ireland some of us are left in limbo.
I know uk does it different than we do which suck.

Like everything Tesla delivery related, take this with a large pinch of salt - spoke to a very helpful person in Tesla customer service on the phone. They confirmed that deliveries to customers from Hoegh Chiba in Dublin are due to start on 9th March - so a bit after the EDD that are in everyone's account.
I have a M3 LR on order post price cut too, as well as a Y, and that has no allocated delivery date. Was told yo hold tight & I should get movement in allocation in a few weeks, another ship will leave with Irish deliveries before end March.
I transferred €10 through Revolut to the account details that I was sent on the email yesterday morning. It appeared on my Tesla account yesterday afternoon.
I assume the March ship is true as all new orders are still saying a delivery date of April/May
Sharing my status in case anyone find it helpful as a reference.
Ordered MY RWD with all basic config (white exterior, black interior, 19' wheel) on 6th January. Was given an ETA of 27th Feb - 9th March.
After the price cut, changed my order to MY LR on 15th January, again with basic config. ETA was updated to Feb - Mar (without specific dates) and the same is still being shown.
So far, no VIN assigned, and no specific dates for ETA given.
Received an email this afternoon from Tesla with the SEAI grant form & questionnaire.
Exact same for me.
Jaysus was waiting on a valuation for my 222 M3 wasting my time so 28K hit in 5 months, and yes I know I can sell privately, Zucar etc but was hoping the Tesla ownership, trade in experience would be better and easier to do making staying in the ecosystem a simple process, this is carnage by any measure

atm Tesla aren't interested in your car, or mine, and the trade I would imagine is all over the place.
I was hoping to make the jump to the Y as it will suit me better as a family car, but have no problem holding the 3 as it does everything I need 99% of the time and in truth am extremely happy with it and we are just about finished with buggies and travel cots so in reality will be able to manage without a roofbox for most of our trips. Ultimately it will come down to the cost to change if I can do it under an amount that makes sense through man maths application then I will go ahead if not there will be a MSM RWD up for grabs with I’m guessing a rake of other cancellations

Tesla will have a flood of cancellations coming their way too as will other OEMs. Don't drive a Tesla but was thinking of cashing in getting a 232 this year I'll park that now till things settle down. Its a cash buyers or PCP with no trade in market now.

This has been regularly reported on all Tesla threads for years, they don't want your car. It's offered out to the trade and they've just lost thousands on each one they had in stock as they were paying new prices for 2yr old cars.
Sell it privately for around 40k no problem. Cost to change is the same as it was in January, new price came down, old price went down too, the difference is the same
I test drove an M3 Rwd from Zucar a couple of weeks ago, 221 with 10k on the clock. $46,900. Wouldn't budge on the price, car is now sold. I reckon a lot of people don't do their homework and buy on impulse, and some just don't like waiting and will pay a premium.
RWD MSM is what I am looking for if you want to message myself or others scavenging secondhand M3s (as a replacement family car).
Ordered Blue MY RWD mid Nov. Got hidden VIN (appeared for couple days) about a week back and delivery updated to Feb23-Mar10.
I intend adding a tow bar, so ordered one with tow bar, the day price dropped. Tow bar always showed Jan-Feb for delivery vs Feb Mar without. This updated on 30h Jan to Feb-Mar. To date, no VIN assigned. I will cancel one of them, which depends on how much later the tow one is.
There is practically no price difference between factory fitted and retrofitting and I assume there is no practical difference in looks and usage.
The towbar can be fitted at a later date by the Tesla ranger. If you get the one without it, you won't pay the vrt on it either. Works out only about €65 in the difference.
Only on the Model Y, in case anyone else comes across this. Model 3 can't do towbar retrofit - it needs to be a factory order.
Sent E10 yesterday and see it updated on my account. Happy now and paranoia has abated. 😉
Tow bar can certainly be retro fitted to model 3.
The issue is that it may or may not void your warranty. Seems to be a grey area.
