Ordered M3 RWD 29/1/23, white/black interior 19 inch wheels, vin now on app, on Hoegh Chiba..
I ordered 4 days later and got a delivery time of April/May. Should’ve pulled the trigger earlier :-(
That's a car in inventory. Not a new delivery. I think we're at least 6 weeks away from delivery considering the current ship with allocated cars won't land in Zeebrugge until 3rd March.

I wonder if this ship due in is just full of RWD Models...nobody here or on the Facebook page seems to have a VIN for a M3 LR yet...
I do for a grey M3 LR. Originally ordered an rwd but upgraded to LR when price changed. Was worried I made a mistake changing the order but I have a VIN on the same ship as of today.

Quite a few MY’s LR’s appearing in inventory for accelerated delivery . Sadly all over grant threshold , LR with induction wheels, tow hitch etc :(

Do you think those are actually in stock or also on the ship? VINs look to be LRW on all of them, so from Shanghai
Pretty sure on the boat. Most likely the original order got cancelled and the system brings it to the stock page.
They already did. The specific cars mentioned are spec’d above the vrs t threshold.

Are Tesla normally stuck with their pricing or would they ever cut the price of inventory stock (like what’s on offer this morning for my lr) to try move stock or will they just leave it at the prices stated regardless of interest?
I'm guessing they might leave them for the moment.
When I was in Sandyford recently the guy ahead of me was having a very lengthy chat about ordering a MYLR. He didn't seem to know much about it and seemed to be happy to pay the 7k extra for grey as he wanted a "different colour".
I was also amazed when selling a €50k+ car recently how little/no recon people who came to view it had done on the car.
So I suspect, even at such high prices there's a decent amount of buyers that don't do much researh and probably will pay the €61k.
Hopefully not though. I'd love if they'd sell me a black or white MYLR with white interior for under the grant limit. White interior only pushes it somthing like €200 over the limit and they are missing out on getting an extra grand or so out of me for somthing that probably costs no extra to make.

Got a valuation from Tesla for my 222 RWD M3 - 26k! Yet they are trying to sell a 221 on their website for €47k. What a business model.

I'll ride this out and keep it for a few years and then just go an buy another brand that doesn't depreciate like a piece of crypto! And please i don't want any comments "oh you don't buy a car as an investment" - of course you don't, but you don't expect its value to plummet on a whim overnight.
And all those new inventory MY's are cancelled orders. I'm not sure how you can operate a business like this - they are going to have a ton more MY's when the rest of the cancellations hit them. I'd suspect they will have to try and match them with more recent orders.
There is loads that i love about the car but i have to say that over time since i've had it it's become apparent how cheaply built a lot of it is. No wonder they can slash prices overnight. Tesla have done an excellent job making people believe they are buying a luxury product through it's advanced tech but the actual build quality of the car itself is extremely cheap and basic. Seats squeaking and becoming noisy after a few months, window seal issues, increasing number of rattles etc., and an autopilot system that is totally schizophrenic.
Anyway no regrets in life - just lessons and i will learn from this, that's for sure.

Inventory stock is at the newer prices already.
Tesla don't make to order so they can't be cancelled orders, they were speculative builds and will remain unsold until a price correction happens. Tesla have already raised Y prices in the US twice since the huge drop a few weeks back
As somebody who has ordered a Hyundai instead I must say I'm jealous of the fact people actually have something to refresh to see if they have a VIN or anything about the order. I simply have nothing other than maybe asking the dealer or Hyundai(which I have done) but I'd really like something where I can see if the EDD changes for the better or worse.
So you might refresh the app or webpage and like or not like what you see but at least you've something to see.
Are resale values usually as poor as described above?
Has anyone sent additional money to Tesla since the deposit ? Someone mentioned on here about being worried about email spoofing and has me all paranoid. Was going to send the balance of what is owed over the next few days. Any tips to allay my paranoia ?

there are two AWD dual motor MY on the site as inventory. Both with induction wheels annd white paint and both say brand new Less than 50km on the clock yet two different prices. Roughly 1400 extra for one of them. What am I missing? Why the price difference for two identical brand new cars?
Why on earth would you buy another Tesla if that’s how you feel about your current one?
Or did the trade value just upset you?
