Yeah it is paid monthly. I think you can do it after the tax year. So interest earned this year you can sort in your 2023 tax return in early 2024 when you would be claiming your rent tax credit and any health expenses. As long as you don't leave it too late I doubt Revenue will care.
As far as I know, any profits made in the year up to November 30th have to be paid by December 15th. And any profits made in December need to be paid by January. The tax return itself can be done in the next year but the profits need to be paid. Annual payment would be much easier.
The Revenue page on DIRT doesn't mention when it should be paid. I think CGT is November like you say but I just assumed DIRT was when the year was over. If it is November then that is a bit annoying.

That is a CGT return dates. To me this is simple interested received and is added on your tax form when you close out the year. In Feb 2024 form I will declare the interest through my normal submissions and pay the tax.
Got my January interest today, 2.00% on the average January Balance.
Funny enough the details are shown as "interest invoice".

I just bought about 10 euro worth of bitcoin and it counted as a transaction
They did not like me lodging 50k and took the last 7k i had lodged until i provided my RSI. I submitted it by email as it cant be done on the app or site and a week later they still have not released it or come back to me.
In the app, if you go to settings, there's an option to enter tax ID. However, it only accepts digits, not letters, and if you only enter the digits of your PPS number, it comes back as invalid.
Anyone know if there's another number we should be entering here?
Log into the website in your browser and you should be able to put in a letter. You could also try and type it somewhere else and see if it lets you paste it in.
