Think I watched that in the UK and actually not living far from Guildford. Always felt uncomfortable being Irish in the UK at the time, as the troubles were still very much alive and kicking then. Bomb scares, security checks Heathrow etc etc.
This movie reminded a lot of people in the Republic how desperate things were. Brilliant movie and Daniel Day Lewis takes this, as usual for him, to another plane.
Feeling extra cranky this morning.
Reminded of some stupid first world problem I had to do for someone, that I'd forgotten because of all the other shite I have to deal with. They, have zero problems, so to them, this was a big deal.
Also, it's Monday and I've work work to do.

I really have no patience today.
Migraine has put a stop to the things I needed to do today. Thank God I got my dinner in the slow cooker yesterday. Jammies, nurofen plus and Netflix it is.
Off the phone trying to check on my licence renewal. I have the email to say that they received it, plus I sent in all the forms in October.
Here watching lingo but I reckon Iβll be in bed asleep in about 30 minutes. Iβm absolutely exhausted.

Best night. I rarely do pubs at weekends. That's quality family time and sometimes work. Don't do pubs much at all. Anyway these pints are going down nice. No crowds.

In the kitchen and watching another interesting movie. I didn't stay out long. Tonight it's "The Courier". 1988 was the year. A first attempt at real gritty stuff from this isle. I reckon Love Hate was next and that was years and years later. A funny kind of watch.
Ah gway The Field was a gritty yoke of a movie (i jest)
My new hobby is:
Staring competitions with my cat. She's very hard to break.
I reckon she'd be excellent in a hostage situation π

...all is well. ππ OH got through the procedure really well with no issues. He's in bed in the hospital - has an overnight and was having a good natter with him on the phone earlier. π±
