Anyone seen these in their local Aldi, seem to be out of stock in my two locals, don’t know if it’s just particular store or if they have been delisted.
Maybe there's something particular about those jalapeños, but you can get sliced jalapeños in any supermarket.
They're not on the website so might be gone completely

Never left my Aldi always been in stock.
They reappeared around October in my local Aldi after a long absence, was the same with Lidl but Im not sure if they returned there as I havent looked. They seem to have had supply issues this last 18 months or so as its something Id buy often and I was having to go to other supermarkets to get it until they showed up again in Aldi a few months back. So it wouldnt surprise me if they are gone again from Aldi. I hope not as they are a lot cheaper than buying El Paso or Costena from Dunnes or Tesco, will report back if they are still in my local as I need a jar of them soon.
@Muahahaha Thanks for the reply. Did they have them in Lidl? I’ve never noticed them there, I know they had them every now and then on Mexican week. Keep me posted if you do knock across any and vice versa. I see Dunnes have them online at €1.50 but you would have two jars of Aldi’s jalapeños.

I can’t seem to find white vinegar anywhere either.
I looked it up at the time and Mexico had a major chilli crop fail due to drought last year which brought about the jalapeno shortage. The peppers that go in to srichacha chilli were also effected so there is shortages of that too.
White vinegar was plentiful in a Polish shop I was in yesterday when buying fresh yeast. The stuff they have is 10% strength which is double the 5% strength sold in supermarkets here, especially handy if you are using it for cleaning as well as consumption.
yeah Lidl definitely sold jalapenos, I was buying them there for years for 49c a jar till the recent shortages and they vanished. I never checked though if they returned to Lidl like they did to Aldi back in October. At the time I hadnt seen jalapenos in Aldi in so long that I immediately bought three jars of them so Im only finishing the third one now. I had been buying El Paso from Dunnes/SV but Id say because of the shortages the grading of them was vastly decreased- I had two jars where the jalapenos would just crumble to pieces in my fingers right out of the jar and some of them were red or orange in colour, they were just really poor quality but still a lot dearer than Lidl/Aldi at 2.50 a jar

Yeah, I use this as a marinade / coating for chicken thighs I cook in the air fryer. Coat the thighs generously, let them sit for at least 20 minutes (or a few hours in the fridge) and then just blast in the air fryer. Absolutely delicious with some stir fried veggies or whatever you fancy.
Where in store do you find it these days? It's been out of stock in my store (Sandyford Beacon) for ages and I'm down to my last jar 😯
Was in Aldi yesterday and yeah the jalapenos are gone yet again. They seem to vanish for months at a time and then show up randomly for a short while before being gone again, its very frustrating. They actually have a Mexican promotion on at the moment in the middle aisles and that is selling lots of Mexican food- except jalapenos. I couldnt find any in Lidl either or at least they werent beside the gherkins where Id expect them to be.
Have resorted to buying and freezing a few packs of finger chillies from Tesco and bought the Lidl Batts crushed chillies but haven’t tried it out yet. Thanks for checking and updating.
Lads, are the giant skyr tubs gone again? They came back a few weeks ago after Xmas but the tag seems to be gone again?
I see from the Cafe's recent post that they now have a low fat version of the smoked onion mayo along with a spicy version of it. Don't think theyll be available in Aldi. The mayo itself is to die for and anyone ive reccomended it to has raved about it. Great with a burger or steak sandwich.

Cornflour seems to be another product facing shortages in Aldi, have looked for it three times across two Aldis in the last 10 days but its just an empty shelf above the price label
Waited a couple of weeks for them to restock it but nothing. Loads in Lidl 🙄
The wheat toasting muffins have vanished as well, store manager said it's a store wide shortage but not discontinued.

yeah I saw some in Lidl but didnt buy it as it was in flimsy packaging whereas the Aldi version is a cardboard tube. Though it might not be when it returns. Will get some in Supervalue instead, they do it in cardboard tubes as well iirc
Sounds like we might be in for shortages of tomatoes soon due to crops freezing in Spain. The Super 6 veg section in my local Aldi was looking very empty yesterday as well
No peppers in either aldi or lidl , very little tomatoes … v frustrating lately
