The aim of the Russian thrust in the south will not be to take cities like Zaporiziha. The aim is to bring the main transport routes, railways and roads, from west-Ukraine to the front in east Ukraine under Russian artillery fire. Both Izyum and Pavlograd are roughly 70 miles from the start lines of a prospective Russian offensive, and thus offer a very tempting combination - being both operationally significant and in relatively manageable reach. There was a case when a column of Russians was marching with BMP and several tanks. They entered the ATGM damage zone. At the same time, our drones were also used. It's been proven that a garden snail advances faster than the Russian army and that's no word of a lie.
They are considered to have a stronger military than Germany and are climbing up the European ranks. Also I believe that as of Jan this year, of the largest military powers in Europe, per GDP, they've given the most to Ukraine (of course smaller Baltic likes Estonia and Latvia put everyone to shame in that dept)

The good thing about the Poles is that, as you can see daily yourself, they're all over the rest of Europe. The nation most likely to emigrate to another EU country. Theres well over 1 million of them permanently resident in Germany (2-3 million according to Wiki).
This is probably one key reason for Poland ranking in 1st place for approval of the EU. Certain corners of the media like to paint them as anti-EU due to legal debacles. The research shows the exact opposite.

Yeah my point was directed at the current Polish government stance on breaking the eu rules but happy to take the eu money (biggest benefactors) and complain about them. Similar to Hungary.

Yeah the Russians made a holy show of themselves. They had/have large quantities of equipment which pushed them up the rankings but a lot of that is old Soviet shite. Western European powers don’t have lots of crap skewing their numbers like the Russians do. Their nukes pushed them up the rankings list as well for those ranking lists that included that in the criteria for military strength.
Poles could be eye balling old Prussia that the Russians hold atm. An incident on the border might happen yet at the height of the conflict. It would be a huge two fingers to Russia and Germany. I would.

They are highly motivated. The German Army is not. The Polish forces are the backbone of the push back against Red Russia.
