Someone posted the article it was in the Irish Independent I believe something about a public event. And Burke challenged the Principal's dictate on pronouns, and created a scene. For which he was fired for eventually.
How could the Principal work the dictate both ways. Excluding Burke from the dictate would ergo be discrimination against the student as all employees would not have had to use the 'they' pronoun.

"Next to no" is not no, is it? And a judge must accept everything in an affidavit when making a judgement , a judge takes everything in the affidavit into account he doesn't cherry pick the bits. Only in Ireland does a sworn affidavit that leads to the incarnation of a citizen suddenly mean so little when it is found to be full of untruths, untruths which the defendant highlighted when it was read into the court record and which the judge failed to give regard to the defendants concerns about it's truth.

That's pretty much it. He is disputing none of what the witnesses have said.
If Burke had been willing to discuss the 'diktat' reasonably, there could have been a compromise reached between Burke, the school, the student and the parents, where something as simple as Burke agreeing to refer to the student by their name only and not use pronouns at all. It would have been a minor issue given that Burke would never have been the student's teacher anyway.

This citizen did not adhere to a judges order and was promptly out in prison, as it should be.
It is not full of untruths, it has errors that were corrected. Try as you might, these are not fraudulent documents that were altered to put him in jail.

Gormdubhgorm clearly thinks the student had surgery. No just no. 16 year olds coming out as trans or non binary dont just go and have surgery immediately. It doesnt work that way at all. Many trans and non binary often dont have surgery. We dont do surgery in Ireland. There would be extensive waiting lists for surgery and a lot of countries wont perform surgery on under 18s. The musings about detransitioning make no sense at all.

You rightlfully recognise the authority of the judge and court to rule on this - which is much more than the Burke's.
Now, you have to recognise that the judge knows best - and that the Judge's decision is absolute - unless challenged by a superior court.
There may have been mistakes on the Affidavit and the judge has required them to be corrected and will take these into account. No mistake big or small will balance Burke's action in disobeying the court injunction.
People can spout all the BS in the world - but this case is about Burke violating the court injunction.

His career is not at stake, it's over.his liberty is only at stake if he continues to ignore a court order. The one thing that is not at stake is his reputation as an honourable man. He ,with the help of his family, has blown that to pieces by displaying his intolerance and despicable attitude to that young student.
