Thats not a policy.
Talked to many people today in work and a surprising amount said “fair play” when his name was raised in the discussion.
One of the inaccuracies being corrected is that a particular meeting last year was attended by one of the transitioning student’s parents, rather than both parents as originally submitted. The second was that another meeting was only partially attended by the then-school principal, rather than the full thing. Two other members of staff attended the full meeting. Worth correcting, but they don’t seem to be material facts, and there’s no evidence that they were lies.

Now in saying that most ppl don’t share his views but we in Ireland have what I would call a healthy anti establishment attitude - Enoch is representative of this - he is opposing the status quo - very much counter the prevailing culture
Yeah it’s funny cos I was in work today and who would walk in, but Donald Trump, and you know what after chatting to him over an Americano, ya know in honor (I even spelled it without the U for the American folk) of the President we had an America coffee. But sorry yeah, fine lad honestly and his hands aren’t even that small tbh.
This is a complicated matter spanning a number of rights for all incolved .
It really isn't, it is actually as simple as they come.
Man acts like complete cúnt.
Nutshell really. 👍️
Well maybe i quoted from someone else's post 'Rule, regulation or policy'. But it certainly triggered Enock's response.
I never said it was forced on teachers. I said it set off Enock's protest.
Oh you and your stories. 😆
No mate he’s making a mockery of our court system and the very fabric of workplace relations. What Enoch is doing is refusing to abide by either workplace policies or court orders to do a certain thing because he has such disrespect for the school he refuses to acknowledge the dislplincary process.
what Enoch is doing is effectively telling people they’re boss is an irrelevance they can do as they want in work and if they’re sacked just turn up. If you go to court, ha! sure court, they can’t do nothing but tell you to do something and sure if you don’t feel like it what will they do. Sure if you tell them it’s against your religion it’s grand.
But the defendant told the judge they were lying in the affidavit, an affidavit is a sworn document of the truth, not a guesstimate of the truth. Why were these untruths in the document if they had no relevance to the schools case? Answer is they were relevant and they told a picture of the "seriousness" of the situation. Two parents turning up looks way more serious than one. Meeting principal is way more serious than meeting a couple of teachers.
If you bothered to look up what the amendments were, you would see clear as day that is has next to no impact on it. It also doesn't do anything to excuse Burke or his behaviour.
His "good name" has already been destroyed by his own actions, so give me and the rest of us a break by trying to make the school out to be the blamed party here.
And just to clarify what those changes were:
Counsel said that the matters that need to be addressed by the school are that it had previously stated that a meeting last year at Wilson’s Hospital concerning the wishes of a transitioning student had been attended by both of the student’s parents.
This is incorrect counsel said, as the meeting had only been attended by one of the student’s parents.
In addition, counsel said, that it had been stated that the meeting had also been attended by the school’s then principal Niamh McShane.
This was also inaccurate.
So these "lies" have no bearing on Burkes insane and erratic behaviour. Carry on.
Was that in Fantasy Land or Fantasy Island?
So just to clarify, you agree it happened?
Thanks for the rude over simplication and use of the C word..
It's nowhere near as succinct as you say it is. A High Court judge agreed he had grounds for getting an injunction to stop the disciplinary hearing so that makes it an arguable case.
Do you work by yourself by any chance?
I wasn’t there.
But you are not disputing it happened.
So you agree it happened.
Nobody is swallowing your yarns.
An observation you made for no reason. Odd.
Anyway, leaving you here. Based on the evidence available and your unwillingness to clarify, I have my answer.
Maybe you could explain the significance of the clarifications so?
So what? What’s the problem with your toilet story?
Not true, this case will be a seminal legal one. Covers so many angles. The only point that is not up for debate is yes, Burke seems like a bit of cúnt.
But irregardless, is it right that Burke should have being put in should an invidious position with no choice but to accept the dictate to use such pronouns? As Burke identifies with his religion, it is clearly his identity.
Or is the right of the transgender person (no gender discrimination) greater than that of the Ethos of the school and the religious beliefs of of Burke. Whose identity is the the greater? As something has to give.
It is fascinating from a moral, legal, and religious standpoint. Not to mention the employer and employee relationship. Right to work in an environment where a persons religious beliefs are not discriminated against.
It is fascinating as well given that the transgender stuff is new phenomenon and religion has been around for thousands of years in some form. Yet realignment surgery only happened when fridges were ubiquitous in Ireland in the 1960's. Terms such as MX were only invented for letters in the 1970's.
It seems like the new testament of transgender has now superseded the 'old testament' of religion. Anyone who questions the new norm (pronouns and so on, definition of woman/man) is now classed as bigot. It is strange world we live in.
I just hope that the trans student in question does not detransition and is as firm in their convictions as Burke is. Because otherwise all that standing the rain Burke did will be for nothing.
I did do some research on trans issues as it is so new and foreign to me.
I did see one youtube video from SKY NEWS where it was explained by detransitioning woman. That a lot of detranstioning women have other issues. Such as body image, sexual orienation issues, and even even autism.
To put it bluntly the detransitioning woman said that many detranistioners are autistic lesbian's in their 20's, with issues.
I only hope the student in question is getting the correct medical advice and in not 'jumping the gun'. There are no second chances.
Should students be allowed to make such a decision so young?
It must be much worse for that individual now, given Burke's antics and the spotlight it must throw on the student.
no choice but to use such pronouns?
At no point has this ever been established.
Do you have video evidence to support that claim?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-2 out of 10 for fictional creative writing effort
It has it was dictate from the principal. It has been established. This what Burke objected to, and questioned the Principal on it at a public event (to make a scene).
Enoch fans are a peculiar bunch.
There's another one that can't understand that when the kids have their phones taken off them they can't record things.
