Not that I attend church often, but I happen to be at a funeral last Saturday, and yes, I saw people checking their phones throughout, I did it myself a couple of times to check texts. Also given that we are talking about teenagers who seem not to be able to leave their phones down for anything more than a couple of seconds, I do find it surprising that no video has emerged of these public events.

It's hardly beyond the realms of possibility that in this "posh" boarding school, students are banned from bringing phones to such school events. Infinitely more believable than the theory that it's exaggerated or completely made up.

Okay, firstly, can any of you three quite a post of mine that says the events as reported never happened? If you can, quote it, otherwise wind your collective necks back in.
The point I made is, considering at least one, possibly both events on which the decision to initially suspend Burke occurred in front of pupils, it is remarkable that not one video had appeared of either incident.
I did, I am not religious, so I have no issue with it nor care if anyone else does.

Given the school is a religious school, most of the students probably have more respect than to take out their phone to film a teacher saying something during a mass service.

Does Berk look like somebody who'd engage in criminal behaviour, because accosting the principle and creating a disturbance puts him in breach of section 5 of the public order act. So the question is , why wasn't he arrested on the scene?

I watched the preach he made today. What struck me was the quietness of all the reporters that were there to let him spout his nonsense. Similar to the clip where the whole family were shouting at the BOM on the hotel the other night they walked by two gardai as they went through a door. I thought the gardai should have stopped them, even briefly to let the BOM get away from the weirdos.
It was only near the end of the 3 min clip that a lady asked if he would not be at the school next week in consideration for the pupils doing there mock exams.
Probably because the principal and staff were so shocked at his aggression to his colleagues that they didn’t have time to look up the Acts and call the Gardai.
And yet, despite a post prior to the one quoted here which answered it quite clearly, you still go on about it being "remarkable".
