I have a feeling that the guards probably warned him off after they picked him up the other day. He hasn't gone back inside since then. Maybe he's thinking that an actual tresspassing charge would prohibit him from teaching again.
Pain for the Principle, teachers, kids and parents - but best if they can wait him out - and let him freeze outside till he gets bored. The law doesn't really manage cases like this especially as he would be happy to go back to the Joy!
However, the WRC will take a dim view, and would only compensate for loss of earnings if you prove you are attempting to find new employment - otherwise nada.

Not sure about that. The family believe their actions are correct. They'd probably do it if there was no financial reward. Although moving to america after this might be a fallback plan. It's not like any of them are employable here anymore.

The fact is the only reason he got as far as he did is the main gates needed to be open for parents dropping off kids & the school bus.
Seeing as he won’t be stupid enough to force his way past anyone and thus risking an assault charge or something if someone blocks him entering he won’t press the matter.
Burke doesn’t even believe he was trespassing this is the level of deluded we’re facing. In fact, he said as much himself, when asked by media why he’s here his answer was “I’m here to teach”.

Where is the evidence of a grift? I agree there usually is a grift but I'm not sure there is in this case. There's no gofundme, no youtube channels or videos looking for contributions, no merchandise being flogged. (A self-published book which has probably sold <50 copies doesn't count imo). Despite people talking about US money they are unaffiliated to any church there, and they don't seem to have a scintilla of the charisma needed to appeal to the bible people/right wingers in America.

Technical point though - As he is unemployed and it would seem he lives at home and doesn't have a car etc., what if he doesn't have the money or assets to cover the fine?
I guess he has a few months worth of salary from when he was suspended on full pay and sitting in Mountjoy , but there'll be a limit on that.

Sadly, I genuinely don't think they'd have any problem raising enough to pay the fines, if they reached out to the US.
I wouldn't underestimate the amount of support they would get over there.
