Does anyone know how long it would normally take to hear back from an interview ref the internal TCO to CO campaign? Currently working as a TCO and had Interview took place 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything back as of yet - would love to know either way asap - thanks
Hi all,
Just got notified that I am being called for Interview for Clerical Officer 2022.
The Interview is being done via Zoom.
I have never done a Zoom Interview before. I was provided with a link for the interview.
Do I need a webcam or will a smartphone suffice?
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks.
Smartphone is fine - try to get it at a level with your head when sitting - maybe handy to download the app then going through the browser
Current payscale rates
I think when I applied it was salary of €26,099 ( but I’m not 100% sure), now after min wage increased it looks like €26,599.
But after another thought I’m thinking maybe this 26,599 is the salary with an increase which will be from March 2023?
Also I do not understand CO salary scale : how often it increases? Every year or every half a year?
Do people get 42k after 3y service?
It increases once a year subject to passing your PMDS. You don't get 42K after three years service.
Those are the current pay scales.
There will be new pay scales published after the March 1st 2023 increase.
Thanks
Thank you , good to know!
I used my phone, bought a cheap tripod in Dealz and that was perfect for it.
I had my interview last Thursday and haven’t heard back. Has anyone else not heard back? I am starting to stress
Will be a few more days.
I had a friend that had there interview on Friday and they heard back yesterday
@steveng411 I was waiting four weeks to get my interview results. I got the results in October, and I'm starting my role on Monday. It's a long process.
Is there much of a difference in the questions asked in the permanent clerical officer interview & the temporary clerical officer interview?
Basically the same interview
I'm guessing it's a bit longer though? My TCO interview was about 7 minutes!
My TCO was near on 20, the CO about 15 if that
Since applying to this campaign when it opened in 2021, my employment details have somewhat changed, I secured a temporary job through an agency last year on a temp contract, (obviously not mentioned on my submitted application at the time) while on a break from my CE scheme.
I am aware from attending previous interviews, that the questions only ask about employments detailed on a candidates submitted application form, at the time of writing.
Can I mention such an employment at my interview, even though its not mentioned in my application?
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Thank you.
I got Revenue :)
An interview panel usually ask have you anything to add at the end, you can build on your experience here. Or they will ask you how you worked in a team or did something specific , while they have a written example in front of them on your form, you can tell them a different ( maybe stronger ) competency. Openly acknowledge the fact you have more experience now than you did back a year ago or whenever.
This exactly happened to me when I went for an interview last year! I was a month or so into a TCO contract. Tell them when they ask about your job history at the start, and definitely use examples from it if they apply. I've also used examples from jobs that pre-dated my application, it's totally fine :-) Good luck!
Well done - I'm getting annoyed I've heard nothing and know people with higher OOM have been placed
I got starting date in Revenue on the 23rd of March- did anyone else get the same?
What’s your OOM?
Me? I'm in the 80's
