If you were to look in to the science as done by the scientists that actually study things like gender you would find that your assertion that the science does not support people being transgender or non-binary to be false. The world is a much more nuanced place than you seem to think that it is.
What type of counselling work?
Take for instance is it the type a young person can go to talk about their issues/sexuality or is it the type where they go to them to be fixed?
I'm paraphrasing but somebody is saying they are well regarded by locals because they go about this work and do it quietly without fuss.

Nobody said he spoke to the student - the poster said to leave the student alone, and I agree.
By refusing to use pronouns they/them and possibly a change of name if he ever had to address the student (which he probably never would) and making a public spectacle of himself in a mixed audience of teachers/students, then in that case he should leave the student alone.
Hurling abuse at the principal (his boss) in public about the student is unacceptable by anyone, absolutely unacceptable in any industry and no-one should defend that. That he can have an opinion is fine, we all have them. You cannot and should not, under any circumstances, embarrass a child by discussing his business in a public space in front of other children.

The same way you won't accept transgender folks right to be recognised as how they identify.
And is that the correct place and way to ‘correct’ his principal? In the middle of family/students/teachers, screaming at her? Don’t be so obtuse, would you like someone who disagreed with you to speak to you in such a way? He should have respected himself, his boss and the public (students and families) and discuss his issues in a proper setting and manner. People who ‘correct’ their boss don’t last long in my experience

With all the smartphones around there has to be video of this. I am sceptical of the abuse claims. One persons rant is another's abuse. If video comes out I will retract if it's bad. We have not heard what was even said. Open to correction.

There's no excusing challenging your boss/colleagues in public, especially in a school setting if pupils were present.
Whatever misgivings he had should have been raised respectfully in private.
I agree but it seems off that there is nothing coming forward. I full expect in this day and age if someone challenges a woman people will step in regardless if there is any reason too. Don't we find it odd there is no transcript that has come out.

Not sure why you're so sceptical when there are videos of the Burkes shouting in a Mullingar Hotel and numerous reports of them shouting at judges. Lots and lots of shouting at Judges.
