As Fr Ted used to say "Those Protestants up to no good as usual". It is hard to see how this is going to get resolved. This Burke lad appears to have chosen this hill to die on. Will he have to be locked up again to protect the school community? Horrible situation for all involved with the school.

Whilst Home schooling in itself may have some merits, it’s the isolationist aspect outside of school time that I’m totally against - I know of a couple involved with a Christian “cult” which is the best way I can describe it- not only home schooling their kids, they only socialise with other cult members- I hate to think what their kids will turn out like - I do believe that the law should be amended to treat such upbringing as child abuse

Schools spend many hours forcing stuff down students troaths - its a large part of their function - but what's transgender got to do with it?
Of course, evangelical xtians read the bible and thus have their own direct line to god. And there is somepretty weird stuff in the bible, even lots of god-approved reasons for killing people.

So the students are rightly pointing out how much of a distraction all this is for them with the constant media attention and him being a distuptive presence.

We don’t get to pick and choose which of our employer policies we implement. He can agree or disagree, but he still needs to do his job, showing basic respect and dignity to students, or get the hell out.

Burke is the opposite of an advocate for transgender people, he is actively trying to work against transgender and LGBTQ+ rights.

Yes and while I'd agree with him to a point there is a court order in place for him to stay away from the school. He should abide by it. He has lost out here.
He is entitled to his views. Many people would agree to a degree with them, myself included. The problem is that he has infringed on many other people because of these views. He's not entitled to that. He has, it seems, totally fcuked up his life, lost a decent paying job for life and become a criminal; and it's unlikely to end there. He certainly has ulterior motives though so perhaps he doesn't care.
We all disagree with stuff in our personal and working life, things that really grate on us. And ultimately we just have up put up with certain things, cause that's life. Enoch only believes in his own ideology though and that's why he is where he is.
Without reading through 54 pages of this, why is this guy just not fired? End of story.
