I think dufflecoat was thinking more about the actual weight of the weapon itself, and how the building would support it. And then of course what kind of stresses and strains would it put on the building if it was fired? Not to mention the effect on the building if it was hit...Or could it and the others being placed on Moscow buildings be fakes? The blow-up kinds??
That rooftop air defence system in Moscow is near Putrid's residence.
Lloyd Austin, the US Defence Secretary said on Friday at Ukraine Defence Contact Group in Germany that Russia was running out of ammunition, and it has suffered significant combat losses.
Austin's speech was quoted by CNN, reports European Pravda.
"The people of Ukraine have inspired the world while Russia is running out of ammunition. It has suffered significant combat losses," Austin said.
The head of the Pentagon noted that Moscow is now turning to its few remaining partners to restock its tragic and unnecessary invasion, "but even Iran and North Korea won’t admit that they are supplying Russia.."

Hope that is true.
Nice - In response to The Netherlands considering supplying F-16s if Zelensky asked for them - Zelensky asked for them. He's no time waster. Great speech.
"I could express my gratitude to you hundreds of times, and it would be absolutely fair and honest, given everything we have already done. However, hundreds of thanks are not hundreds of tanks. Each of us might say thousands of words, but I cannot replace these words with either the guns that are required against Russian artillery or the anti-aircraft missiles that are needed to protect people from Russian air strikes," Zelenskyy said.Details: According to Zelenskyy, time is still Russia's weapon.
"We have to hurry. Time must become our common weapon," the president emphasised.
Zelenskyy concluded his speech at the conference by calling for the next Ramstein meeting to provide longer-range missiles and F-16 fighter jets.
Those in Mariopol were never confirmed. It was one Ukrainian report that got a lot of traction for a while. A French and a German news station tried to back up the reports, but found nothing. The picture that was circulated at the time wasn't in Ukraine and iirc was from a few years ago. So I'd wait until more sources on this new story.
Now it wouldn't surprise me one little bit if it were true in the sense of how Russian leaders consider their cannon fodder. That said on the other hand cremation is verboten, or very dubious for Orthodox Christians and could cause more unrest at home, particularly among putin's voter base of older Russians.
Yes they are logical in protecting their own personal interests, even if that means destroying the state in order to do so. But sooner or later, that means collapsing into a Korean like state. More restrictive laws are coming into force every day now, throttling each and every kind of personal freedom, even worse than in Stalins day.
Imagine being in the army and having to listen to this shyster. No way would those men respect that media clown :
Ah my bad, stupid draft messages on boards 🤬
Yes these are war deaths you speak about, but there are many more deaths that could be war related as money used in the health services is diverted to the war, and hospitals suffer as a result,
What a great idea!
what happens when a missile hits one of these?
*boing*
Kremlin will announce they've destroyed 100 Abrams tanks.
One of these three has moving parts and is real, can you spot it?
Tell me about it - grrrr.
There's just been a real Nazi in the German Parliament giving a speech:
I wonder of the potential risks of supplying Ukraine with huge amounts of military equipment and causing Russia to increase their production or buy in more (if they can). This could be just prolonging the war. There are still sanctions to be imposed which will or could harm Russia more than military battle and on a human level limiting death and suffering would be preferable.
Just the opposite. Not giving Ukraine weapons in the amounts enough to turn the tide now prolongs the war as it gives Russia time to produce and buy more weapons and to train more mobiks.
Please understand that Putin has no intention in ever ending this war unless Ukraine surrenders. Anything else would be the admission that Putin was wrong and a Putin who is wrong is a dead Putin. To keep himself alive, Putin is ready to sacrifice everyone for as long as he lives.
Was thinking, how inspiring a fat, rich, media whore telling them their lives didn't matter would improve their morale. NOT.
Lol. Name the last war that was stopped by sanctions.
African war chest.
Talking about killing two birds with the ‘one stone’. If a missile is fired to thaw out the rooftop system it might as well make sure that the missile has a ‘box of matches’ on board and set fire to the building
Or fire at the building and take out the system along with it
I've no words......There really isn't any hope for these utter morons is there?
First time in history a nazi stands up for soviet union and Russia
Wagner group are also doing security on oil rigs in Venezuela, you might wonder why
Inflation have gone trough the roof,so Venezuela pay their debts with crude oil to Russia and China,at their price.
Update on Soledar/Bakhmut.
Yes, he’s on the ear hole again.
EU has sanctioned Russia
EU has given the Ukraine directly billions in financial aid with more cash going to be sent… multiple billions approved.
EU took in millions of their citizens, housed them, educating / educated their young people, given priority access to free healthcare for all. Jobs etc…
enabled them with free public transport, a quality of life, safety, security etc.
but… it’s never enough….
” here, where are our tanks, come on ! “ “ here, where are our F-16’s, come on ! “
The Ukraine, is a country more than TWICE the size of the UK…. 2.4 times larger… it is larger massively then any country in Europe. So the fuçk it can’t be self sufficient ? Why its economy wasn’t in nick so to provide an effective and coherent defence ? …. Constantly on the ear hole ! It is beside Russia, who it’s had difficult relations with, maybe have your shít together….
many of healthy young Ukranian men of fighting age, currently enjoying life in European cities and towns, enjoying the taxpayers there, picking up the tab….
sorry, I digress…. F-16’s was it, tanks ?.. coming right up ! Ffs. One F-16, costs tens of millions…. But, no problem.
You should give speech to the German parliament. Quite a few there might welcome your viewpoint. I don't. The requirement to remain civil is a real impediment to adequate expression.
What the hell does "on the ear hole" mean?
Well without the support there is every chance that the Russian invasion would have been, or could still be successful. You then have a failed state bordering the EU under Russian "control". The migration we're seeing today will look like nothing compared what it might look like if that happens, plus the risk of escalation increases. Don't think this support to Ukraine is for Ukraine, it is for the long-term security of the entire region. We're not that nice, we're really covering our own arses and rightfully so. It's in all our best interests that Russia fails.
They previously used them 8 years ago in Donbas
