I sometimes watch classic Coronation Street in the afternoon. They are currently on February 2002. During the week a dark haired Will Ash(Caleb) played an armed robber who sort of held Emily, Rita, Betty and Blachche at gunpoint. I remember seeing this when I was 10 and loving it.
Back when the writers could tie up a story in under 5 minutes. Now they'd drag out his arrest for months while he hides in Emily's attic.

What I find hilarious is Matty thinking he's the hard man and trying to take on Cain similar with Jacob and the drug dealer a few weeks ago.
The other thing is, I know Cain is too quick to be the hardman, but he's right, the family are backstabbers. If it wasn't for Chas and her lies Al wouldn't have been in the barn. Yet she's apparently back in the fold now, while Cain and Paddy have to pick up the pieces. She's getting an easy ride.
