Should have been called Gryffindor house

It does seem overpriced alright.
I'm not a million miles from there (maybe 15km as the crow flies), so I can say at least with a little confidence that Dunnes now deliver to ridiculous places, most likely including there. It's a lovely spot around there close to Lough Nafooey, but it won't suit many for sure.
Well it looks well lived in anyway. Not really my style of a house.
What a living room! Kinda love that they have the old oil lamps hanging from the rafters in a few of the rooms. Hopefully they don't actually need them π

Lovely little house but insane price. It's in the middle of nowhere!
Cracking address π
Standard Sherry Fitz practice of promising vendors ridiculous sales prices lol
wont get near that
4.8m, id like to see how they cooked that up
absolutely i can feel the cold from the pictures.
This in the Irish Times today.
Beautiful location. It looks like a cold spot at the best of times. I'd say it would only suit a local.
I know the area well. I live in south Mayo but anyway you are right for food shopping you would have to go to Oughterard or Ballinrobe both a good drive away. And a decent trek to Galway city but not too bad, but you wouldn't want to have to drive there everyday.
Zoomed out on the map and don't know rural Galway at all but is that multi coloured house in the absolute middle of nowhere?
Worth saving some of the photos, for posterity π
I reckon the BER rating is quite generous at D2.
It's a nice spot but too close to the neighbours house. If I wanted to live in the sticks then I'd want the neighbours house to be at least a fair bit down the road from me not the next field over.
The best thing about being in that house is that it's the only place in the vicinity you can't see it. π
An example of 'Bungalow Bliss' horror situated in a beautiful spot.
Yep π - someone who lived in that house is colour blind!
It needs alot of work but its not a bad house and has been cared for over the years. The location and views are fab.
I think anyone buying it would be buying to build a new house. Its a site basically - that house is beyond saving.
Some interesting colours with this one.
Glentraigue, Clonbur, Co. Galway is for sale on Daft.ie
Not a chance. and given there's no interior photos, you can guess that its a wreck inside.
Would you get a mortgage on a wooden structure? That might explain the price.
Best

EVAR!
and not a bad price for 12 acres and a house.
I'd be horrified if I thought one of mine was staying in a dump like that !
Not really you just use a pump to keep it dry and the pipe work will already be there it's how you keep basements dry. It would be more waterproof than most sheds
They buy cheaper than they sell hence the owner would not get much for it. They don't really auction the stuff for you, they buy it and sell it.
I found someone who wouldn't mind living there.
Its more - don't bring any stuff, there's nowhere to put it.
Funk me, the state of it. Is that how bad things are nowadays? Don't bother tidying, it'll be snapped up regardless
