You do not need your own account for Spotify if you pay the €10/month premium sub.
You can use the free Tesla Spotify but need a sub for Netflix/Disney+ etc

I use my own Spotify and Netflix anyway.
I pay the €10 /month, consider it good value .
I like, not necessarily in order, Spotify (Don't have my own account), Live traffic, Satellite view (Probably my favourite), and Browsing (Saves faffing with phone hotspot). Can use the browser when driving, not recommended, but I often stick on Flightradar 24 when waiting on a flight.

One more silly question - how realistic the Feb/Mar delivery times are? As in if I sell our car in the next couple of weeks I wouldn't want to be without it until September - can live till April I suppose but beyond that would need to delay selling the current car

Feb/Mar delivery times are probably very realistic for those who ordered back in 2022 and who subsequently received a 2 week delivery window eg. Feb 18 - Mar 05.
For those who have ordered since, especially since Friday 13th and still only have Feb-Mar/Apr delivery estimates, nobody knows.
If you want one, order one now, I think there will be a lot of cancellations despite the price drop, I was thinking of switching from a 3 to a Y but not going to now because the cost to change in my case is not worth it, bound to be loads like me.
Worst case scenario you are €250 out of pocket until you request it back

If it’s 310km, then no need for a stop at all (on MY LR). If 310 each way (so 620km total), then yes, one stop is plenty.
That car might have the old, non-comfort suspension.
That's a big premium (€12,000) to pay to get a used one now with nicer/less efficient wheels, instead of possibly having to wait until September for new.
The FSD is worthless in my opinion; we don't know when it will exist, the regulatory framework won't exist for another 2 generations (eg. electric scooters) and I'm not near an age yet where I want someone/thing to drive me around.

Seems like a crazy price - you could get a brand new one for 54k and then pay 7.5k to add FSD afterwards, get a second set of 20in wheels and still have a good few grand in your pocket versus buying that one
Agreed, FSD is worthless to many, I wouldn't pay extra for it for sure
I’ve ordered both a MYRWD and a MYLR, the RWD delivery date has changed today from Feb- March to Feb 24th- March 10th while the LR is still Feb - April. There’s no urgency on my part other than delivery slipping past any changes to the SEAI grant.
I’m keen to be able to drive from Dublin to Waterford and back without stopping to charge, let’s say 400km it total, 95% at 110kph on the motorway. How likely is that in either version? If a stop is needed in both then I’ll just take the RWD as a stop of 20mins rather than 10mins makes no difference, and I’m not sure the dual motors and increase in acceleration justify the €7k price difference for me.
Also, anyone take a guess at what I’d sell a 2015 Outlander PHEV GX4H with 56k miles for?

From Tesla guy at the test drive. They are probably shocked the by amount of people showing interest and they try to cool down knowing that it may come back to them. Like don't sell your car yet as we are unsure when your new ride is coming

I switched my order from a RWD ( ordered in November) to the AWD two days ago but it occurred to me, as the AWD delivery will presumably be delivered later ( my RWD was given a February 19 to March 6th estimate) , if delivery of a AWD ordered two days ago didn’t arrive until September, the government grant would then have expired and the price of the AWD would revert to near 60 k ?
perhaps I’m misinformed?

You might be correct. If the LR doesn't arrive until September it's probable it won't get a 5k grant. Maybe a partial grant or maybe none at all. And although you would think its good business for Tesla to make sure Irish people get their orders before June, Im not sure if the few thousand cars involved are important in the overall scale of things.
It is eligible ( since last Friday) , Tesla didn’t drop the AWD 15 k in price , it dipped below 60 k and then the grant kicked in
That’s a major consideration, while the reduction in price of the AWD is huge and double the reduction of the RWD , it’s a false sense of security if delivery happens after the grant ends ?
I can’t afford 60 k plus so while I do like the idea of the improved performance the AWD offers, it’s a huge gamble
just hope I can switch back to my original order and not loose my place in the queue?
Place a 2nd order to keep your options open. Previous posts here have indicated that the deposit is refundable under distance selling rules.

it’s a given that the original order would arrive first so I’m not going to refuse delivery of a RWD in March even a second order for a AWD managed to arrive before grant expiry date
potentially messing up both orders
