Hi I have one one the new Arris boxes for last last 2 years. It started to give trouble and dropped all recordings. It recently started to display a message asking for the hard drive to be restarted to correct the errors. After restarting the same message is displayed again. I have tried to reset the box and unfortunately the message eventually appears again. Has anyone experience similar and been able to fix the box? Is a replacement hard drive the only solution? Nether freesat or the online seller will repair it unfortunately. I was thinking of replacing it myself although it seems to need a security hex to open it. Any advice appreciated.
