I got my SEAI grant form day before pickup last yr
I have changed mine to cash. I was going to go with HP from AIB/Finance Ireland when rate was favourable - now increased to 6.4%. I'm now getting loan at 5.9% from Credit Union. I also like the CU loan because I tent to repay a bit quicker when I have a few spare yoyo's
I replied to mail with signed SEAI grant 10 days ago and just followed up today to see if I needed to do anything else. Was told no, once vin assigned (expected in next couple of weeks) they will apply for grant from there.
Same situation as you except Feb 23rd to March 11th.
No SEAI grant request document to fill in yet.
I have a trade in but waiting for closer to the time to try to keep it within 30 days so no re-valuation is required. So that part of the order page is not yet ticked.
In saying the above I will probably try to sell it to a dealer if possible.
At least when the ship gets through Suez there are less chances of it getting stuck..😁

I didn't get anything from them yet re SEAI grant. Feb 17th to Mar 5th delivery schedule. Paying cash it if makes any difference to the SEAI application process. Should I try and contact Tesla Dublin or will they be in touch for anyone in a similar situation ?

Text message just received saying that my account is complete. So obviously they have received the forms I sent back yesterday for the SEAI grant application. VIN is imminent I reckon...🥳
The Lake Kivu has just left Tesla Shanghai on its way to Europe. Hopefully that is Zeebrugge bound. I think its arrival in Europe date would fit in with the end Feb-early March current advisory window. Plus, if the Irish batch is on that and not the California approaching Suez, there's a slightly better chance of the batch containing cars that can match the recent flurry of orders. Or at the very least, hopefully a few more MY LRs.
Usually an invoice and then they pay that once your loan is approved.
My CU is over 8%, seems they don't want loans at that. I had a look around and could only see avant with a slightly lower rate than the Finance Ireland offering. It's not great but aside from that exception above (if you live in Tipp!) it seems the norm now so I just went with FI.
Out of interest I checked my local CU and it was well over the 6%. Would it not just be the same for Tesla in that all the CU probably need is an amount, reference and an IBAN?
Quite likely but maybe other CU’s have similar rates.
They pay the garage directly so I’m not sure how that works with Tesla ??
They may have a few new members at that rate!

Delivery on my order has moved from January - March to now showing February 24 - March 12
Likely to take a few days as sorting existing and new orders will be the priority since the price drop. Should be good value in used inventory when it happens with benefits like EAP and immediate delivery.
I see the used Inventory stock hasn't dropped in price yet, it's a fair kick in the teeth if someone picked up one of those lately.
