So you're gonna find 31 men, that you know as well as these families know each other? And fight them on their ground? And these 31 will be as loyal to you, as those guys are to each other? This isn't playground stuff.
New sprayer arrived today
Looks well Reggie. Best of luck with it. Looks to have a decent spec. Can you say what's on it?
Induction hopper
Hydraulic folding and lift
Eletronic controls
3 Section cut off
Self fill
Shes 12m with 1200lt tank
Swit swoo- all the best with it
I don't know how I got on to this conversation as it didn't happen to me. But if it did of course it would drive me mad. But if the insurance and the guards won't press charges what could I do?
Go fighting or be glad I had insurance and thank God for my health and my family.
Farmers are going to up their security, their is so much happened down here the past few months. A few locks and sensor lights would be a help
As a Dub, I cannot understand how ''Candid'' pictures of balers, sprayers etc would float your boat. Is this Farmer porn ?
SO funny lol ! 🤣
My friend ,maybe 1000.s farmers will look at that sprayer and analyse the spec and suitability of it for their own use ..only a few might be in a position to buy a new one ,more down the line might buy s/h. This is what farmers now do on saturday nights instead of going to the pub thanks to Shane Ross
Jesus Reggie, there's no blooming rear lights on that thing. Haven't you learnt your internet lessons by now 😂😂
Only joking by the ways. Well wear on the purchase.
Why? The same conclusion I came to after seeing some of the peculiar threads you've started on boards? It takes all sorts to make a world.
You can't take a candid photo of an inanimate object Me aul flowah! (Did i use that right)?
Its only a bit of light hearted slagging ! You could hide in a bush while taking the photo ?
Reggie buys new while the poor farmers like myself have to make do with second hand equipment
It's all them fancy holidays and fancy clothes that drain your coffers stan
The basic principle here with being macho with this stuff is who has got more to lose.most people have loved ones, assets, reputation and dont have the time for this sort of stuff.whereas your oppostition may not give a **** about anyone, nothing to lose, may actually feel doing wreck may enhance his reputation and nothing else to think about or live for.put a man with nothing to lose in a position is a dangerous thing
For the life of me i cant undertsand why anyone put a picture of themselves up on the internet.
As handy as a small pot.
I work off the principle that I never start a fight that I won’t win and the scenario above is one you won’t win.
is it right? No.
is it fair? No.
Your in the minority so, almost everyone has Facebook and other social media, and are never done putting up pictures of themselves and their loved ones.
I’m with KG, I’ve never had any social media and can’t for the life of me understand why anyone would want them!
Well apart from boards, that makes 3 of us so far.
But even on here, I know theirs an absense of photos, but theirs plenty of people posting such intimate details about their family. Some things should just be left off the Internet.
@Reggie. well wear with the new sprayer. It looks like a fine machine.
All go the last few days moving fodder for people here. After seeing a lot more trailers on the road the last few days hauling bales than before Christmas.
Beautiful tractor here. What would the price tag on this be?
€32000+vat I reckon
€45000-€50000 plus vat
Would I be right in saying that the back end on them with the ccls hydraulics is the same as a 7614?
That's the dearest stable of all to buy from. McCullagh present them beautifully but they charge accordingly
That's the largest of the 54 series. Would a lad not be better pushing onto a 6465 or something like that and having a heavier tractor to accompany the power?
As far as I know it has the heavy back end but I'm open to correction on that. 5400's own back end is not to be sneezed at either.
Always found the massey back ends a bit light. Tried to lift a a 12'6" slat one time with a 6480 and she kind of bounced it along the ground. Staggered the job. Put a NH T6030 to it and she made child's play of it. Neither tractor had a counter weight
Were they the same loader though.i presume tier 2 6480 which is a 62 back end but the loader is the king maker.
General concensus around here is that there will be alot more silage made this year than previous years. As most farmers around here last year skimped on the silage making and all buffer stocks will be used up.
