She is not part of that gang of young go-getters.
Doesn't need to be 😍
It’s the smugness
I'm sure she's been mentioned already, but Sinead O'Carroll (from the Journal.ie).
A sanctimonious pain in the hole.
There's quite a few from The Journal like that
Kate Thompson (played Terry Killeen in Glenroe) - gives me the creeps.
The Nordie male pathologist in Silent Witness
actually….not inexplicable whatsoever….
The Paul brothers Jake/Logan
Two more from me - the doctor and psychiatrist from Operation Transformation. Watched an episode of it last week (for my sins!) and developed an immediate disdain for those two.
Going around poking his nose into police work, he should be back in the office doing pathology work!
I got to dislike him so much I stopped watching QI for a few years even though I really liked the show. Watched a couple of episodes recently from the S series and he's actually gotten even worse. Mumbling like a senile old man, giving out about stuff, talking over people and making weird noises.
I get the impression even the other contestants and the host look at him with disdain now rather than the fake laughing they used to do.
Dr Fergal Malone (former Master of The Rotunda); obnoxious git who absolutely loves himself; the superiority complex is unreal
He had an article in the IT yesterday bemoaning the fact that with the new Hospital Consultants (Sláintecare) contracts Obstetricians will no longer be able to look after private patients in public Hospitals. Pity about him that they will be stuck with a mere €250k p.a. contract with the HSE. Won't be able to charge €5k per private patient anymore... boo hoo
That's not entirely true. We do complain about some peoples success. Irish people will also jump on any old bandwagon that rolls into town.
Conversely, we'll also bemoan a lot of people who fail in life.
I have quite a list. Here's a few.
I can't bear the sight of Judge Judy. If she spoke to me like that anywhere other than a courtroom I'd find it very difficult not to react badly.
Ricky Gervais. Unfunny and tremendously annoying.
Steven Gerrard.
Ryan Tubridy
Have you ever met the man? He’s an incredibly nice guy.
Didn’t see the article so I can’t speak to that but I’ve met him a fair few times and he’s never been anything but sound.
The achievements and success of U2 is moaned about and belittled. A lot of people don't even recognise it. Not liking Bono is not an excuse for that in fairness.
The bandwagon thing is also very true.
Can't comment on moaning about people who fail in life
He's a terrible binge drinker that makes a show of himself. He must be married to someone's daughter or something because by all accounts he's meant to be a complete bellend.
Never trust scones with ‘unruly’ hair into their late middle age.
Never.
He has gotten cringy since Fry left. Had a horrific upbringing apparently, surprised it's just booze he's fond of.
Michael McIntyre
Lenny Henry
Peter Kay
Mary Lou McDonald Glen Hansard Ed Sheeran
The Chaser Sean Wallace.
Just for the way he reveals the high offer: '25. 25,000 pounds'. '42. 42,000 pounds'. Etc.
Jeremy Clarkson.
never trust an aul’ lad constantly in jeans.
Cathal Ó Searcaigh
I'm convinced they are the same person
I hate his "One question shootout" comment every time it comes down to the last question. Every...single...time!
Andy Murray's mother..Judy?
She's not the shy supporting parent encouraging in the background, rather the parent looking for her own bit of fame off her son's success, turning up on all the crap reality shows. Her little fist cheer really gets up my nose for some reason.
Btw I think Andy is sound in spite of her.
Michael Harding
Actually liked him at first
His folksy homespun country wisdom schtick had worn thin
