I think they would be strategic reserves they never planned on getting to be used. But even before this there has been plenty of foot dragging.
Mud is the universal enemy for all forms of transport, either wheeled or tracked, and it does not show any favoritism, be it Ruzzian or Ukrainian, sub-zero or saharan temps and condition's, you have some chance, but mud? Nope. Well, given the politics surrounding the war, there's always going to be publicity about it. What is true and what is false in this publicity is something else. And then, you have the information deliberately fed to the Russians, and psychologically, it drives them nuts, and that's just in the Kremlin. Imagine what it does to the conscripts on the ground? ( assuming they get to hear it) Every time some country announces a new delivery weapons, the Kremlin announces new threats, and targets the donor Country with literally fire and brimstone ( Nuclear weapons.....again) But I'm pretty sure that only Ukraine knows what Ukraine is planning.
A good sight, Ukrainian forces already training on Bradleys. The Ukrainan 47th Assault Brigade seems to be the focus for integration of Nato and Western systems
Russia think they can decide the rules for the entire war. What constitutes a war crime. Who can supply weapons, what those weapons can be, when there'll be a ceasefire. The list is endless. Another one isn't surprising
They have already launched strikes from inside Belarus,
It's likely the main reason Nato Intelligence gathering aircraft have been flying very close to the Belarusian polish border , along with lativan and Lithuanian airspace
Remember this week we saw the rule's which Russia laid out that would bring Belarus into the war , including threats against the state from other countries,
Funny Russia deciding what can and can't happen when it comes to Belarus and Ukraine
If attacks are launched from Belarus then Minsk will be toast in 2 hours. Lukasshenko has been told that on no uncertain terms.
They'll probably be used to attack civilians in West Ukraine whilst simultaneously keeping the poles and slovakians on edge.
The Polish shouldn't tolerate them. Tell Belarus it's considered and act of aggression and if they stay there they will be destroyed. That they're not willing to risk another "stray" missile incursion.
You've been beating that dead horse since February yet here we all are, no closer to annihilation than we were then. Time to find another irrational fear.
Contingencies?
The contingencies are they are already on the way. All are now being supplied by NATO leaders,
Slava Ukraini
I hear Pampers is on sale in Tesco. Be quick!
No ones asking anyone to declare war. They're merely asking them to supply the military equipment needed. Why is it ok for Iran to supply thousands of drones, or DPRK to send shells and artillery but off limits for the west to supply Ukraine. Typical bullshít Russian double standards.
These are the same clowns who complain about big government and erosion of their civil liberties. Then they hold up Putin as an hero to their cause. You couldn't make it up.
And?
What contingencies have you considered?
NATO countries need to send their tanks to Ukraine. If the will is there we could have thousands of Abrams, Bradleys, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, AMX-10, rolling in formations and blasting their way to Mariupol.
Russian s300s deployed close to the Belarusian/polish border,
How sick would it be if they were used to launch attacks on ukraine
Send him home ....
He wants asylum, sense of humor at least

Ex-commander from the Wagner Group fled to Norway and wants to testify | odessa-journal.com
I read somewhere recently that in the muddy winter conditions found across much of Ukraine even more mobile vehicles like fully tracked main battle tanks can be fairly immobile in the mud. I don't trust what I see announced in social media is the full stry of what is happening on the ground. If I was organising a counteroffensive against the russians in Ukraine the last thing I would be doing is announcing exactly what equipment they are going to be facing. What is announced in social media is going to be known to the russians. Whatever NATO equipment is being sent to Ukraine, I see no reasons the russians need to know anything about it until its grinding down their positions occupying parts of Ukraine.
We have been hearing the same argument from the same people in some cases for 9 + years we can't stand up to putin,we have to sit back and let putin do whatever he wants because putin has nukes ,
Let not try stop the invasion,he has nukes , let's not put a no fly zone over Ukraine before this all starts ,he has nukes, let's not help Ukraine their all far right neo Nazi's and corrupt, but he has nukes....
We're all going to die ........
The feeling of helplessness in these videos is also noticeable. The interviewees feel the country is so oppressive and autocratic that even if millions of people took to the streets to protest, it wouldn't have the slightest impact on Putin. We're talking about an out and out dictatorship. I'm always amazed that the western Putin bots adore the regime, but I guess they are all closet authoritarians who don't like this old democracy malarkey and would much rather live in a dictatorship under a despot type.
That's pretty much what some want, they think it would be a conventional war, over in a matter of weeks/months with minimum casualties.
The reality would be nuclear Holocaust, hundreds of millions dead and a century of hunger and death all over the world.
War fetishism from lads that wouldn't volunteer at a charity shop never mind actually go out and fight.
Why not .? Besides the use of nuclear weapons, what can they do ?.... they cannot even take a town in Ukraine at this stage
What exactly would you like European nations to do? Declare war on Russia?
"I'm not political" might be a euphemism for 'fuq Putin'. It is the easiest way out though.
So basically, are all these German tanks effectively worthless??? Maybe that's the reason Scholz is delaying? Trying to get at least some of them operational? If they were that bad, why would that even be on the donation list?
Yeah, even miles away from Moscow and the Kremlin, Putins octopus of intimidation runs deep.
Interesting. The lass in the biege coat was pretty forthcoming. What strikes you about such vids is that the old are usually gung ho(then again they know they won't be the ones dying), the young tend to stay quiet and dodge the questions. The fear of saying anything is palpable, even on the pro putin vids where they stick to the script, but it's pretty clear quite the number of young Russian people are not happy campers.
