PDF order agreement is still the old price. They will upload a new doc in due course. The car details has the new price.
If this is your first Tesla order, relax, don’t worry. You are getting the new price. This is not the first time this has happened.
Presume it's a type 2 plug, there is a possibility you have an older type 1 that was for the original Leaf or maybe some PHEVs? All new cars last few years are type2.
If you’re not fussy on the colour, it’s probably worth doubling your chances if thats the way it works. I’m not aware how likely you might lose your €250 but even if you did it’s not huge in the scheme of things. €250 wouldn’t rent you a car for long if the EV6 was gone. I’d look to sell the EV6 asap if I was in your shoes. It’s value will surely be hit by the Tesla price cut also.
Neither price change has changed for me
Can anyone who had a rwd order prior to price change confirm that the actual order agreement pdf doc has changed, mine hasn't but the "your model Y" area shows new corrected price.
They are the same as every other EV out there. I suspect you are looking at USA cars.
I use my BMW charger on the BMW, Kia, Tesla etc
Based on this forum, a lot younger than the old farts that cant use an iPad and are very reluctant to change.
Ordered a LR in Black a few days ago.
As per comments here if the ship is already on the way it's unlikely there were loads of LR on board, there were a glut of orders for the SR after October so I'd imagine they are mainly those. LR was about 65k till the other day so was probably not a hugely popular choice.
I'm selling my EV6 in a day or two in order to do this swap and mindful that I don't want to go months without a replacement, if I thought I wasn't going to get the car by April/May at the latest I wouldn't be buying it, I need this car for driving around Europe this summer.
Do you think there's any sense in placing a 2nd order for LR in white as a backup plan, ie increase my chances of getting one if somehow there are white available but not black. I'm not that pushed on the colour, marginally prefer black and imagine it would have slightly better resale value. I'm just keen to get a car by April/May at the latest.
Any obvious downside to doing this assuming I can get a refund for the one I don't take?
Thanks
It'll work just fine. I have the same
Silly question folks. Hopefully getting my Y in late Feb if the website is anything to go by. Ordered in October so with a bit of luck all is ok.
I have a Zappi at home to charge but wondering if it is compatible with the Tesla. Their connection seems to be different from others. The wife currently uses it for he PHEV.
Would a dual motor have less whine or double the whine ?
don’t know about that
this is a deflationary move across the market, all cars in the 30k to 70k region are going come under pressure, I wouldn’t panic, there will be good deals
No idea, but likely a bit younger than the average car buyer buying a car of similar value.
Awe very good. Well at least they will be there for someone else if you do not buy them. Seems to be good demand for them now. What is the average age of a Tesla buyer anyone know?
No, it's not an issue on the facelift models (from late 2016 onwards), my current car is a 2017 or any other modern era Teslas
The early nose cone models nearly all needed a battery replacement by now. My previous car was a 2014 and it had the battery replaced for free by Tesla in December 2020
Did you have to change the battery on the model s? Is that even a thing?
I'm not going to take either if I don't get a decent buy offer on my Model S 😁
Given it some more thought and no matter what way I look at it, getting a Model Y after a Model S is a considerable step down. The Model Y would give me a brand new warranty and uses about 40% less electricity and it has one pedal driving, but that's about it. Many benefits of keeping the Model S, particularly seeing it still has 2.5 years of battery / motor and drive train warranty left.
It hasn’t changed since friday, but those dates aren’t worth paying too much heed to IMO, only when the 2-3 week delivery window dates appear in your account can you be reasonably confident of delivery.
As a few have pointed out, Q1 orders for Ireland are built - so it will depend what, if any, spare stock they loaded on to boat. All Irish orders coming from China where the factory is closing this week for 2 weeks. If it’s not on the boat it’ll be Q3 delivery
Meant RWD.
good bit of shipping info starting to become clear over on tesla motor club.
For those considering buying at these reduced prices my advice is to move quickly. Musk changes prices on a whim, a Fed pivot or softening could lead to an overnight increase.
He will probably take both of them when the price goes up 10K in a few weeks, knowing his luck..😁
Let us know how you get on inventing that car 🤣
the LR is AWD 🤣
So Your going to take whichever car comes first then is that it or both of them lol?
The LR is the AWD...
Exactly the same as in that acceleration test. I made a mental note of it when I heard it in that video this morning. Quite load, but not annoying. Reminded me of my Renault Fluence Z.E.
That lad Bjorn is a great vlogger. I only started watching him since someone put up a link here, but yesterday I found myself watching a video where he was looking at houses and going shopping for a tripod with the Mrs
Very tenuous link to cars! Like Top Gear, only not ****!
I’m leaning towards the MYLR rather than AWD as i will get better range which i can sometimes need.
Range should be slightly better than my Q4, which i’m used to at this stage.
delivery range is Feb-Apr , if i could be sure of april delivery for the LR then id leave the RWD
Non existant
The motor whine is very load in that acceleration test.
How was it during the test drive?
