😂And tell me, what part of geolocated combat footage is "Russian PR"? or full of **** and lies?
Were all the videos and images faked? The Russians have a scale model of Soledar in Siberia that theyre posting videos from, to dupe all the OSINT folks? 🤣
The lengths some here will go to to deny the evidence based truth is hilarious - just because you dont like the outcome does not mean the OSINT is false.
Zelensky spoke a few days ago about the defenders at Soledar buying time for the AFU. It would not surprise me at all that Ukraine have already committed forces for a counter offensive somewhere else, possibly Zaporizhzhia or an amphibious assault over the left bank of the Dnipro. We could be looking at trading a salt mine a massive chunk of southern Ukraine very easily.
You can see on the x's in the 3rd image that they're identical too. Clearly photoshopped.

Captured orcs. Look at the state of them 😂
Maybe elsewhere but the Russians have been reinforcing Kremina the last couple of weeks too. It was where I had been hoping to see the next Ukrainian breakthrough. The Russians has thinned themselves out more in Kherson too possibly reinforcing the southern front so I'm not going to predict where Ukraine might manage a successful counteroffensive next. The further North is the most likely to freeze quicker than elsewhere so I'd still hope to see developments in Luhansk sooner there.
Kremina looks like the mostly likely. If they push far enough it will also make any gains in and around Bahkmut meaningless.
Still fighting in Soledar
Not sure how reliable this account is but no good news out of Soledar/Bahkmut:
He's an ex navy seal ,he posts some decent stuff but sometimes he's wide of the Mark, but he corrects himself when it's pointed out
Soledar really is the consolation prize after the Wagner PMC (& DNPR and Russian Army) push on Bakhmut failed. Putin will have some salt now.
Anders Puck Nielsen is a serving Danish officer teaching (wears his uniform for work or on Danish TV) at its Royal Naval Academy. He notes how Shoigu the Shaman (I give him that title as Shoigu sometimes feels the need to deny that he's follows the Siberian folk religion of his parents, and that he's a proper Russian Orthodox believer), the actual Defence Minister also has his own 'Patriot' PMC alongside the famous Prigozhin force now headquartered in St Petersburg. PMCs are illegal in Russia, as they are in most countries, so he think's all a bit wild. Essentially the point he makes that in these 'new wars' private actors actually have an interest in continuing war, albeit not as intense as now for Russia doesn't have infinite convicts, but preferably a sort of frozen conflict.
I wonder if the weather has suited Russia ,and hindered Ukraine , there was no big freeze in December,
And I think the Ukrainians were hoping to go either in kremina/ svatova or further south ,
The Russians have had an extra month to deploy , strengthen, and attack along a broad front , the Ukrainians have gotten sucked into atritionall fighting in the Bakhmut region and around kremina , when what they wanted was mobility and speed ..
Now that the weather is turning cold ,are the Ukrainian forces spread out too thin ?
Everyone was talking about a winter offensive a month or 2 ago , now they're talking a spring offensive..
possibly orc choppers being destroyed
confirmation the AFU are still fighting for Soledar
I think you’re off a bit. I don’t think they got sucked into anything, they are just defending against attacks. I expect the Ukrainians will carry out an offensive when they are ready and when the conditions are right. Unlike Russia they won’t just pick a date and place and go with that regardless.
Soledar seems to all be about Kremlin politics and gaining favour with Putin than it is about anything militarily meaningful
‼️ The "prominent role" of Shoigu and Gerasimov, the justification of strikes on energy, the war against all of NATO and ignoring "Wagner" - the Russian Federation has prepared general recommendations for covering the war against Ukraine
▪️ The military command of the aggressor state created a special document that determines how Kremlin propagandists should cover the events of the war against Ukraine
📌 General recommendations contain eleven points, the main content of which is:
1️⃣ Focusing on information exclusively from sources approved by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation;
2️⃣ Emphasis in informative materials and comments of "independent" experts on the leading and positive role of Sergey Shoigu and Valery Gerasimov;
3️⃣ Justifications for strikes on critical energy infrastructure of Ukraine, referring to the "necessity" of such actions;
4️⃣ Emphasizing the theme of providing Ukraine with western weapons. In this sense, it is separately recommended to focus attention on the fact that "Russia is conducting a military operation not against Ukraine, but against the whole of NATO";
5️⃣ Refusal to mention PMC "Wagner" in a positive context. Emphasis on excessive human losses and senseless attacks by the PKK;
6️⃣ Tracking and citing publications in foreign media about the successes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is proposed to focus special attention on the statements of Western and Ukrainian politicians, which can be interpreted in a similar way.
☝️ In general, the document indicates a radical change in emphasis regarding the coverage of the course of events in the war against Ukraine, as well as the aggravation of the political struggle within the aggressor country
And to underline the veracity of that, Prigozhin is spitting chips that he and His Wagner PMC aren't being credited for all the prisoners they have managed to relieve the homeland of.
Evgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner PMC [Russian private military company – ed.], has said that his group of mercenaries are "constantly robbed of victories", alluding to the report of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation on the alleged capture of the Ukrainian city of Soledar.
Source: Prigozhin’s press service on Telegram
Quote: "Significant damage to Wagner PMC can be caused by our intraspecific struggle, corruption, bureaucracy and officials who want to remain in their seats. This is a more serious threat to the existence of Wagner PMC.
For example, recently the Russian mass media have been actively working to ban the phrase "Wagner PMC", not to pronounce it out loud and to avoid it like fire in every possible way.
Wagner PMC is constantly being robbed of victories; talks about the presence of hell knows who [alluding to Wagner mercenaries on the front – ed.] belittle their merits."
Expending thousands of lives of their fellow countrymen so they can argue they have a bigger wang than the other guy.
It's Russia that has no right to exist, not Ukraine.
I have been thinking this for a long time, Ukraine have more boots on the ground than Russia
If they really wanted to shut Russia off here they could by throwing more people in there, gonna be very interesting when the ground is solid enough to go full attack again
I believe Soledar and Bakhmut are the meat grinder trap Ukraine have set, the Russians are just to arrogant to admit it so follow Stalingrad plans
Car bomb?>
Gas pipeline explosion better Latvia and Lithuania,
Coincidence ?
Minister for tone deaf interviews resigns
An estimated 740 rashists eliminated today.
The elimination of the regional gauleiter collaborator, apparently.
50 orcs vaporized. Has HIMARS entered the chat? The explosion looks too big for 155 artillery.
Shame about the house.
Confirmed by German news program "Tagesschau" and news magazine "Der Spiegel".
People online claiming she's the worst ever German government official.
Really......worst.......
German government to decide next week if they will be sending leopard 2 tanks
Anyone else humming the Benny Hill theme watching that?
Certainly looks like a very big explosion.
Could have been a little ammo dump in the house. I mean Russians couldn't be that stupid to store ammo where they sleep/rest? Right?
Allegedly taken a salt mine......but I'd take that with a grain of salt !!!
Well,it's not like they have previous form for doing so!🤣
Thomas Theiner on Twitter has been talking of this tactic for a good while now. Send Ukr lots of NV gear and thermal drones. Keep the russians out in the field skirmishing over Winter. The only way then for them to keep warm is by fire or going inside which the drones can see, then "smite them" 😄 by drone or artillery. The NV gear was for leaving vulnerable to attack at night as the russians apparently don't have much NV gear. No sleep, no warmth, makes for an unhappy bunch I would think.
