Ah now, the big story yesterday was putin changing the head of the operation again, that is not something that occurs after success. They are expending many troops going after a small target that doesn't offer much tactical advantage.

I very much doubt there will be a spring counter attack Anywhere near Bahkmut or Donbas. The Russians are heavily fortified there and if the war goes well it will be the last place that will have the vermin pushed out of it. There's easier ways of taking Bahkmut later in the war than a head on assault. Further pushes in Luhansk and a push to Melitopol would be the clever moves by Ukraine.

The only proof is the word of Ukrainian MoD. No videos of fighting, satellite images, etc. Just "trust me bro".
Whereas on the flipside there are geolocated videos of the occupiers in central and Western soledar, walking around freely, with no gunfire to be heard. If the Ukrainians are still holding on to Soledar, they are doing it very quietly.
Maybe the Ukrainians need to give putler a call and apologise for all this mess? It's what the pro orcs here seem to suggest 😆

Hear hear, although I don't buy into this myth of Russia being able to fortify anything. Ukraine have superior intelligence thanks to the American satellite system. In a front that is thousands of miles long there will be weak points. The AFU is a modern army with high quality training who will use superior maneuvering to bypass the orc defences. I don't foresee the orc version of the Maginot line being a problem.

The fact it's taken months and months to potentially take Bakhmut, yet people are acting like Ukraine is in a rout. When Russia can take a defended town in a week, let alone a month, then I'd start to worry.

Digging holes isn't fortifying. Concrete bunkers maybe but that takes a minimum of a month to cure and I haven't seen a single concrete bunker built since the start of the war
