Russian Urals oil trades at $37.8 per barrel
This is more than half the global price of Brent ($78.6), and much lower than the ceiling of $60 imposed by the G7 countries, — Bloomberg.
EDIT:
The nation’s Urals grade, a far bigger export stream than any other crude that Russia sells, was $37.80 a barrel at the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk on Friday, according to data provided by Argus Media. Global benchmark Brent settled at $78.57 on the same day.
With all the finger pointing by the russians that it was the mobilised troops using mobile phones led to the large numbers killed when gathered in the one place in Makiivka on new years eve and being hit by HIMARS, a video is released claiming to show a survivor of the incident testifying that the troops did not want to gather in such a big group but were ordered to do so in order to see putins new years speech. I'm amazed their army has not seen sense and turned back to march on the Kremlin with the way they are being treated.
Germany Said no leopards being sent to Ukraine, Poland Says it absurd to think Poland would send dozens to 100 of their own tanks, they will only send tanks as part of a large coalition
The battles going on in soledar are something else. Since Russia have a rare foothold and smell blood they're sending in a lot of better trained soldiers to find success.
So their strategy is to send endless waves of mobiks until a breakthrough is found and then follow up with actual professionals.
I won't disagree with what the Brits are saying myself, they know more than me.
But they only have 5 of them operational I believe they claimed they had received another 3/4 , there has been various claims of them being active over ukraine but little or no real evidence they are being used , would they risk their most expensive military toy to launch a few missles into ukraine when they have been tracking Russian bombers since day one launching missles from the black sea and Belarus.
Communist lickspittles, happy for Russia Muppets to die for their cause while they go on tour, backslapping each other.
This is one lucky Ukrainian soldier.brave surgery team too
The idea behind the UK sending Challenger tanks is to gain support for EU countries to send their Leopards which vastly out number the Challenger tanks ,the UK currently only had 220 tanks in the first place, where the leopard tanks available is 1800,-3000 if I'm remember correctly.
Looks like UK intel has come up trumps again, any day now someone will put operation chip pan into effect to render Blofelds secret base a no-go area.
Su-57 jets in Akhtubinsk Air Base are reportedly been used to carry out a lot of recent missile strikes. It's a fair distance from Ukraine.
But 10-20 instances of each type isn't a great solution. You'll need teams trained on the various types, logistics chains will all be duplicated/triplicated/multiplicated.
I can't see everyone donating more than 10 -20 each but it adds up, American has said they are planning to train 500 Ukrainians at a time on the Bradleys which would suggest they will be sending more than the 40 that's already been made public
If true that is huge, not because of the rumored 10 tanks but because it opens the door for other main battle tanks.
He's afraid of mobilisation 🤣🤣🤣
Surely they are free to enter the conflict unilaterally if they wish.
Other NATO members have been engaged in military adventures without disbanding from NATO, as we are often reminded here by the anti NATO/ anti US brigade.
Does this worry you?
Poor old George"rent a shill"Galloway isn't happy🤣
The announcement of delivering IFV's was all planned with France being allowed announce it first. Possibly for good PR etc...
Maybe the UK will be the first to move in tanks, followed quickly by Germany granting export licences for countries with leopards who are willing to give to Ukraine.
No point giving Ukraine tanks after a spring offensive.
"The Tsar is naked": Podolyak predicted how Putin's desacralisation in Russia will end,
Russians are beginning to realise that the power vertical in the Russian Federation is not working, so the criminalisation of social relations is rapidly increasing and ethnic conflicts are escalating.
Defeat on the battlefield and the general state of Russia after the attack on Ukraine has desacralised both Putin and his entourage. The consequence will be internal sabotage, loss of process control, criminalisation of society and ethnic conflicts in Russia.
According to Podolyak, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs gives official statistics about a 600% (!) increase in criminal offences in the regions bordering Ukraine.
On realising that Rome's legions either no longer existed or were otherwise engaged and would be for the forseeable future, the provinces realised they could go their own way.
Russia strikes me as as an empire being held together with nails, rather than a glue of shared ethnicities, culture and religion. Pull the military nails and bits might start to fall off.
The Bundeswehr was in bad shape before the war, I believe of the Marders they were going to send to Ukraine a large number would be taken directly from Bundeswehr stocks
It is strange that they are dragging their feet so much on Leopards though - are Bundes stocks of those just as bad?
Finland said they would provide some Leopards if another country went first, but they can't spare many, for obvious reasons. Greece has some Marders on order about to be delivered and has said they don't need them iimmediately and would rather they went to Ukraine.
I wish Scholz and some other gutless wonders would wake up and smell the cordite in the air.
Other than the Wagner PR organisation, who has been predicting when Bakhmut would fall?
Unless western countries step up the supply of artillery to Ukraine, Soledar will fall and the russians will be able to maneuver around Bakhmut to the north cutting off one of the main supply routes
Great news if true. As the piece says the 10 tanks is really just a reason for Germany to greenlight supplying the leopard 2 which is available in much bigger numbers.
Thanks for that will save me in future.
Tosh. NATO is a defensive organisation. Any member can do what it likes millitarily and can instigate military action unilaterally, but doing so absolves the other NATO members of providing assistance or aid. So nothing is holding Poland back except their own will.

I believe there's been a few close calls lately involving tourists having to be rescued after trying to get to the front lines,
Kids out of school trying to get over,it's not call of duty, there's no unlimited respawns in a real war .only real bullets and real death
You are forgetting the dam was mined.
"Zelensky regime"
You're relentless. I'll give you that
UK may be sending Challenger Tanks to Ukraine.

You have experience in these situations yourself Forest that makes you such an expert? Where and when if its not too much to ask?
