This guys in the news quite a lot recently.
This seems a bit too far. Is primary a bit too young for this ideology? Certainly “endocrine supports” for young kids seems a bit scary as the changes can be irreversible.

I only met one who I worked with. That person transitioned, including changing their name. No one in the workplace cared and just went ahead with treating this person as per their new gender and referred to them by their new name. This happened seamlessly with no education because most people have their own lives and don’t really care what others do. It probably helped that the person demanded nothing from anyone, just said that this is my name going forward.
There are people in this thread refusing to acknowledge it even now!
Sure it’s all a load of commie gobblygook really isn’t it 😂😂
How do they work these stats out?
I'm not up on this stuff but I watch Premier league every weekend. And there are no gay people in it. Is this even possible? I've watched it for decades.
Is this just gonna become another thing that people didn't come out with because they were afraid to tell people.
Ye we are going to have tens of thousands coming out once teachers start teaching in primary school.
That will give them the courage to come out in public.
Oh you think so?
Trans under the floorboards, Joe.
Please, tell us more about how you are a centrist while expousing right-wing views.
Please tell us what the right wing views espoused were ?
That mans ‘work’ speaks for itself, he used a child for an experiment and both he and his brother ended up dead before 40 because of it.
Your seeming inablity to read my first sentence in that post, goes a long way towards proving my contention in the last sentence.
Quelle Surprise, anything that isn't left with is automatically right wing.
You have no idea what right wing means.
Not under the floorboards. At kids birthday parties and now soon to be in primary schools pushing their dogma.
Dogma under the floorboards...
Typical churlish response from the peddler's of this dogma.
It's frightening to me the amount of moderators on this site, who beleive gender ideology and its introduction to primary schools will have no impact on children when it's spread from countries where the affirmation policy has led to social transition of children as young as 3 or 4, when a study was already done in ireland showed that children in ireland were socially transitioning in senior Infants.
Dogma, birthday parties and peddlers - I had no other option, really.
Ok. Let’s discuss the actual topic. If we’re gonna bring this into schools we should know what we’re bringing in.
In any new curriculum to teach other peoples children about these “transgender issues”, how should the curriculum define what a ‘woman’ is?
Should they teach biological fact and science or have you something better for them?
See signature. In any case, I'm not the one formulating the content, so it's not really relevant what I think.id or isn't a woman.
Also, wouldn't it have been more advisable to lead with that instead of the birthday party hysteria?.
I saw your signature. It doesn’t decide what is allowed to be discussed. And don’t deflect away because you’re “not formulating the content”. Its the topic of the thread on a discussion forum. It’s an important question because it’s what they want to teach other peoples children.
And what to you mean my “advisable”? Advice from who? You?
It's not supposed to
The topic of the thread is should kids be learning about trans in school. It is NOT 'what is a woman'.
It's not about existence.
I for will not allow my 2 kids to take part in any transgender awareness schemes \ lessons in their primary schools.
Let kids be kids, Im 48, I learned all I needed to know about transgenderism etc as time naturally went by and I was exposed to various ideas at various times throughout my adolescent years and early adult years, all of which culminated in me knowing what their is to is to know about transgenderism etc.
I certainly didnt need it force fed to me in primary school.
The details of what they would be learning is absolutely key to this discussion. Maybe you think it isn’t but if so, why?
When you try to teach kids something that’s demonstrably false they will ask those questions.
If you’re so confident in your ideology why can’t you just answer that question? I find it really peculiar when people are afraid of discussion. It’s almost as if they don’t believe it themselves.
And ‘what is a woman’ is no more about existence than ‘what is a giraffe’.
This agenda would not be being pushed so hard if within the last 7 years we'd had a Minister for Children who actually was a parent rather than that being a purely theoretical exercise. Still think of the wonderful parades we will have and all the photos and media stories about modern Ireland!
You don't know what a centrist is either. A centrist isn't someone who sits in the middle all the time, a centrist is someone with a mix of views, both right and left.
Ya see, when you start using words like dogma and false ideology, you're notcreally here for discussion, are you?
And that's why you get curtish replies.
Actually I am. You seem to think a difference of opinion to you isn't discussion. An approach I’ve seen regularly when dealing with people who push this agenda.
I’ll use the words that I think describe my beliefs. You can’t even defend yours.
Id like to know from others here, in the curriculum should they teach what a woman is and if so, what should they say? Are other opinions on this allowed in the classroom ?
You're not interested in my opinion. You just want to rant. Ending this now for that reason. Gone on too long.
I am interested in your opinion. I absolutely despise it but I am extremely interested.
