The 18 howitzers been sent are the M109 Paladin,
More big guns.
The latest special delivery coming from Uncle Joe Biden
10,000 since just before Christmas. I suspect the Ukrainians have some weird wonder weapons we don't even know about. (I understand they got Brimstone 2 recently)
I think you'll find at least one poster has swallowed it.
110,000 + dead we must be at about 1000 dead orc's for this week alone from precision strikes on bases , be interesting to see how many Lost in open combat in the same time
The likes of Russia and China and the Arab world all think democracy is a overrated too. Those the kinds of government you'd rather have?
23 Russian tanks down in one day-
Another day another Russian base has been hit in Kherson
100 + casualties and counting,
3rd/4th base hit this week?
At this point there may be more Russian military forces including armour and vehicles in Belarus than they have inside ukraine ,these trains full of military equipment are arriving into Belarus on a near daily basis,
I don't think they are trying to prevent ukraine invading Belarus
Because it can happen,
Word games won't change that,
At this stage Belarus is a country under occupation or has returned to Russia in full ,
So what we may think definitely won't happen will likely happen at some stage
Poland is considering a request from Ukraine to donate its German-made Leopard main battle tanks, a senior Polish diplomat said.
As a user, I officially converted to Bradley from Abrams in two weeks including a few days on the gun range. The gun system was the worst of it. However, it was also a course in a mutual native tongue between instructor and student, and it was a “bare minimums” course, a lot of “tricks” and troubleshooting needed to be learned in the field. And it had little to do with what the mechanics needed to know. Also we had access to simulators.
There has been Russian gains in the area, but by all accounts Soledar is a a fortress with extensive underground tunnels. It appears the Russians are trying to cut the town off, but that is easier said than done and will require time.
The Ukrainians have made similar minor tactical gains in the region around Kreminna and face a similar dilemma of having to fight through a heavily fortified urban environment. I can't see either situation changing for either side anytime soon.
Because it likely will never happen. Why would it at this stage?
Of course they have to maintain readiness though.
Its all related.
If they're not headed to Ukraine itself, then they are certainly part of the extensive garrisons being put in the eastern NATO member States.
That's why the Ukrainans are keeping a large number of men and equipment close to the border,
So they believe and have prepared for the eventuality, considering the build up of Russian forces in Belarus, aircraft, awcs aircraft, gunships and heavy armour
Vs boardsies say never
Bit of decent news from here for once
If Belarus were going to commit ground forces it seems pretty likely it would have been when Russia were threatening to encircle Kyiv, not when Russia are clearly losing. This is even ignoring the incredible internal turmoil such a move would cause.
Ukraine need to maintain planning for the scenario, but its incredibly unlikely to happen at this point.
Never or your not exactly sure like everyone else
Bradleys on the move somewhere in Europe, could be heading to Ukraine or possibly not related at all .
Lobbing canon fodder into the grinder seems to be finally working for Putin.
why would I? "2 more weeks" is a joke, it means its never going to happen
I wonder you will the first to say I told you all this was going to happen if they rolled across the border into ukraine
The Donbas has been a shítshow for a decade with existing loyalties driven by both sides, Ukraine and Russia. The latter only sees neighbouring countries in two ways, as obedient puppets or enemies. Ukraine made the lurch from the former to the latter and oul Vlad didn't like that one bit.
But let's say all of what you say is accurate and true. It's not BTW and it's certainly more complex than that. You've picked a side and ran with the simplistics like all who prefer the simple over the complex do. But anyway, let's say Mother Russia want to help Lugansk and Donetsk out of brotherly love and a sense of fairness; why didn't Mother Russia not just take those two areas alone? Go to the UN, "Do an America" claim genocide, weapons of mass destruction, the usual script and gone in. They could have done that far more easily with far fewer losses and it's also likely they could have gotten far more away with it too on the international stage, like they did with Crimea.
But Vlad didn't do that. Oh no, he decided to make his run for Kiev and force regime change, "remove" the government and put in one more "suitable to his needs". And no, it wasn't a "feint". Even Russia doesn't throw away the lives of some of their best troops in feints. If it were a feint, then that actually makes them even more incompetent. Like the "reason" they gave for giving up huge swathes of the east near overnight was spun as contractors just left after their contracts expired(yep an actual reason given). They appear to be so incompetent at fighting actual soldiers their spin is even more surreal. It literally makes them look worse.
But nope, Vlad and his minions vastly underestimated the resistance and vastly overestimated local support for Mother Russia and made his army and airforce and navy look like incompetents. His navy are hiding from a nation that doeesn't even have a navy. And he brought down the wrath of the vast majority of those who actually count in the international and financial world. If this was a US led coup and trap, OK, then; Vlad walked right into it.
Another interesting aspect to all this talk of pro Russian support in Ukraine, especially in the east and something I've not seen people mentioning. Insurgency behind the lines. On a very regular basis we hear of pro Ukraine people blowing stuff up behind the Russian lines, even assassinating pro Russian leaders behind Russian lines. However, when was the last time we heard of pro Russian insurgents operating behind Ukrainian lines? Funny that, if there are apparently so many pro Russia people in Ukraine...
But let's forget all that, forget the spin on both sides, forget the side anyone wants to take: Would tens of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians be dead, tens of thousands more crippled for life, millions displaced, economies runied, towns and villages flattened, if Russia hadn't invaded? That would be a clear and inarguable No. That's the only side that matters. The bald truth.
And before you pull the missilles pointed at Russia/NATO wanting to invade/Bla bla. That's all nonsense. All that enemy at the gates guff is Vlad wanting to distract from economic and other issues on the home front. Put "nazis" on your doorstep and that keeps his population distracted. I know a few Russians and I've personally seen their attitude to Ukrainians over the last ten years go from "brother slavs" to The Enemy in that time. And these are Russians living in the west with all the media open to them. Even at a distance they're remarkably easily led.
NATO had and has no interest in attacking Mother Russia. Remember the missile that killed two people in Poland? Zelensky was quick to point at Russia, but within hours the US and NATO were nope, likely Ukrainian gone astray, nothing to see here. Zelensky even complained his people weren't allowed to do their own investigations. NATO had the perfect false flag to up their game. They didn't. They dialled it right back.
Now they are happy to watch Russia bleed out and look like idiots and for a bargain basement price and no NATO troops coming back in cofffins. Result. Why would they risk more, even if Russia didn't have nukes? Fpr less than 2% of their annual budget they can watch Russia look like eejits. Again Vlad fúcked up. Monumentally.
Drink!!!
2 more weeks to the belorussian invasion
I can almost feel the spittle flying on this one. Absolute Russian propaganda garbage.
There was no coup. Yanukovych was removed by mass popular protests, not before having Ukrainians murdered by his special police.
The two far-right Ukrainian candidates got less than 2% of the vote between them in the 2014 elections, that's less than most European countries. The "Nazi" stuff is more manufactured Russian crapola.
It's one thing for Russians to regurgitate this nonsense, it's another for someone who is presumably sitting in a safe, Western, democratic, peaceful, free country to be parroting this pro-Putin diatribe.
The KGB of Belarus conducts exercises in Minsk and Vitebsk regions with the use of military equipment
looks like they Belo-russians are up to something
You're quite right - this has been common knowledge for 8 years... 8 years..... to those who have religiously watched RT.
US involvement in Ukrainian affairs is made up by putin bots
All kicked off when Ukrainian govt reject closer ties with the west and choose Russia at the last minute the people rose up just like they are now
