I can smell that room from the pictures.
Where is the second bed or do you have to bunk up with this CLEAN guy.
It appears to be just one room/bedroom/bed.
😂😂
"Room will be shared with a neat clean guy". Some peoples definitions of neat and clean must be different from mine, I'm gagging just looking at the pictures of that kip.
"Room will be shared with a neat, clean guy"
jesus that’s grim

There's an auction house up north that specialises in this style and design of furniture. They sell heaps of the stuff, so it must have a good following. It wasn't the bar I was looking at, rather the rest of the units you can see stretching around the room, typical Scandi design and flavour.
"The pool is not much use as a pool but it does mean you could it as storage. You would need to upgrade the insulation"
You'd need to have really good waterproof containers for whatever you'd be storing.
I like the bar but retail sale price isn't what the owner would sell it at something people often misjudge about stuff they have. Sell it on a specialty store might sell for €1k but probably just get €200 selling it themselves if lucky
Weird how people are saying it is so 90s. Clearing 70s styling throughout with some 60s and 80s thrown in. The curtains and wallpaper are certainly very Dallas like. Can't see any 90s stuff at all.
The pool is not much use as a pool but it does mean you could it as storage. You would need to upgrade the insulation
I'm pretty sure that the two level cocktail bar in the middle of that pic is G Plan. unfortunately it will probably get skipped by the new owners.
I thought the same.
It looks like a house that was cared for, comfortable and lived in.
Some very desirable Danish modular storage units on the walls in that house. That stuff is in big demand with certain buyers. Dated looking, but a classic 20th century Scandinavian furniture.
It's only got the Cleveland Z*, it needs all the others to be truly a Tetris floor! /pedant
*Yes, the tetrominoes have names!
The tetris tiles are just brilliant!
I wouldn't touch the kitchen, I think it's amazing with the curves and the colours. They've already made an effort to keep it when putting in the new cookers. I'd regrout the tiles, have them deep cleaned and leave it at that.
Apart from that, the cosmetic stuff like carpets can be done and concentrate on improving energy efficiency, with air source heat pumps, better insulation, windows etc.
Best thing to do with the pool is cover it with a glass sunroom type setup with a roof that moves out of the way on the random days we get sun. Or fill it in and extend the house back and make a mad rave hall!
Keep that fireplace a few more years and it will come back into fashion as a very desirable antique.
That house makes me feel a little bit sad.
It was probably someone's dream home at one time.
Yes, it often amazes me at how well maintained some of these houses are.
Swimming pools are way more trouble than they are worth in this climate.
And like was mentioned already it would take a lot of money to bring that house up to scratch and then another large sum to fix the swimming pool if you were amazed that it had a pool and thinking you just had to add water.
with a lot of people they decorate a house once and wont countenance doing it again, i think its more that than anything, apart from the carpet wear it looks relatively loved.
It's like they bought the pool and couldn't afford anything else!
I’d say downsizing is more likely. A couple about to hit retirement and looking to build up their Florida fund
Has to be the home of a old couple that died recently or moved in a care home.
That, and the stonework extended into the alcove, at an angle.
It's the stone fireplace does it for me. In fact that stone fireplace would date it back to the late 1960's.
BER E1...it would be warmer in the swimming pool.
Its interesting how none of the curtains do anything for any of the rooms.
