Christ almighty religion stopped being useful a long time ago, how have we not moved on.
You're either taking the piss and/or need to brush up on yer history :)
Maybe he thinks the school are bullying him?
Whatever, he's an odd ball for sure. Then again, there should be room in society for oddballs. We'd be the poorer without eccentrics and oddballs.
But we are all going to be expected to use people's pronouns, not just in schools, but in workplaces. You think people aren't going to have an opinion on that? Do you really think that?
Like I have repeatedly said here, isn't that a great thing, that we all have an opinion on a growing social issue. I'm a supporter of pronouns by the way, altho I do think people who would prefer I use their pronouns should contact me every day to remind me what they are...an email would be fine, I'm bad with names as it is, I frequently forget them...I wouldn't like to end up suspended from work if I misgender a person, who would eh!!!
It's dragged on far too long.
The manky cúnt needs to charged with criminal contempt, sentenced and fined.
The school hearing needs to be held, with or without him, where he will be fired. The Dept. needs to get involved if needs be.
The welfare of the children has to be paramount and this mentally ill fanny goat needs to be a made a distant memory.
Call them what they are: a cult.
Sticks and stones will break my bones (and get a suspended sentence), but names will land you in jail…. Messed up world we live in.
put him back in jail, he obviously wants to live by no rules except his own. That’s not acceptable anywhere, and his failure to comply with court orders is completely different to the pronoun issue that he is so desperately trying to stitch together
This is classic victim blaming.
...just fine in sure, at least it ll make sure he ll never teach again!
I find nobody really cares about Enoch and his family.
I do see a few people supporting him on social media but outside of the real devout one's the Burke family would have no time for a lot of these people due to their circumstances.
His daddy drove him to school, he sat around for the day with no-one talking to him, his daddy drove him home. If he was 14, you'd feel sorry for him.
Someone should have called the guards.
I think he's great, such drive and commitment to the job, not letting a court order get in the way of the children's education. We could all strive to be a bit more like Enoch.
absolutely, not giving a fcuk about kids needs is far more important...
So close, just one letter out.
That would only feed the victim complex his supporters and financial backers have.
Jail only does the same and he wants to be in there to suck up the Yankee cash because they think wrongly that he was suspended for not using pronouns.
Fines rather than jail is what hurts these money grabbers.
True, it was much better back along when the parish priest was buggering the boys and impregnating the girls and then shipping their problems off to Magdalene laundries immune from prosecution or disciplinary action.

Ah, yes, let's get back to the good old days where we brushed everything under the carpet!, because that worked so well for people's mental health.
Don't care, in my day if a creepy old man spent all day in his car hanging around near the school the guards would be called and he would be dragged out of it.
Again, child safety has to be paramount not these fúcking clowns.
Considering the number of people who practice religion of one form or another worldwide, this would appear to be breathtakingly ill informed.
No they wouldn’t.
Ironically these types always claim they are trying to protect children from the nefarious left. Where is his concern for children now?
Ya but everyone in the school knows these clowns and why they were there. "Creepy old man" implies stranger you is looking to harm kids which isn't the case.
The best way to get people like this to fuk off is not give them attention. Have we learned nothing from the passion of St.Tibulus and the power of media coverage.
The constitution governs everything and gives government and the courts the authority to govern, rule, make and enforce laws, together with individuals rights and freedoms, and these are all balanced, as expressed democratically and governed by law.
It's what gives Burke the freedom to express his opinions and beliefs, and protects that together with his rights such as his right to life, freedom, etc. He has no more or less rights than anybody else.
You can't just pick and choose which parts of the constitution you want - but he and his supporters are too thick to realise that.
cigarettes, heroin, crack, fentanyl……
plenty of people worldwide at that stuff as well and its no good.
Nah, it's dragged on long enough.
Dept., Tusla and the guards should be in the school today, as I firmly believe it is now a child safety issue.
No other forward thinking country would let a man with a history of erratic behaviour and a well documented history of violent outbursts chomp around a school he is banned from in direct contact with 100s of children. Absolutely nobody knows what he capable of.
It's beyond farcical, the parents must be absolutely livid.
It needs to end and needs to end now.
Ya but prison should be punitive where as it's what he wants for the big pay day.
Wait till he is home then send someone around with a court date and some huge fines in court.
Enough times.
Again what he wants or needs is moot.
The children in the school and their welfare is what should have been paramount from day 1.
I have sympathies with the school and BOM, but like I said this danger needs nipped in the bud and now.
Policies and procedures are over engineered in schools for a reason, no one knows what this creep is capable of, out now.
Nonsense - there is absolutely nothing to suggest that Burke is a threat to any child.
He's an evangelist who believes he's obliged to live by the tenets of his beliefs. That's all. An oddball but that's all.
This is a test for the state and he is using the situation to make a point.
Maybe it'd be better if all matters of religion were removed from all schools. But try that and you'd soon see a storm of protest from others for whom it suits to have their particular brand of beliefs in schools. Burke is making the point that you can't have it both ways.
