This guys in the news quite a lot recently.
This seems a bit too far. Is primary a bit too young for this ideology? Certainly “endocrine supports” for young kids seems a bit scary as the changes can be irreversible.

At the moment we have the (thankfully) rare case of a secondary school teacher behind bars, partly because they refused to call a student their chosen pronoun.
We also have this thread, I have no idea who is reading it, neither do you. Do you think a trans kid aged 12, 16 or 21, reading this would feel normal and accepted by the wider world?
That should not be the only reason and you we'll know it.
Sleeping Beauty is not banned in Irish Schools, but well done for knowing what it's about. It's a very useful tool for talking about consent, it's safe to assume you don't think that's too adult a topic to teach children?
I'm not suggesting the curriculum would bludgeon children over the head, I meant that in reference to the general over egging of the trans pudding in general.
Some times if you push too hard you can engender a backlash which is counterproductive.
I think the woke brigade as per usual has taken an innocent children's story and destroyed it because of their warped minds.
It's sad that people think a children's story is about rape and consent, but that is the sad world we now live in that some of us are trying to fight back on whilst others wont be happy until everyone and everything is a NPC.
So you do believe in biology, but suspend that belief when “feelings” are involved?
Will have to fact-check you there,
Was he not released?
Also, it's important to note he was behind bars for refusing to obey a court order, not as you claim partly refusing to call a student by a pronoun.
I would argue that he is indeed correct, schools should be free of such silliness because it will inevitably be used as a tool by some children against teachers to put them in their place so to say making false claims against teachers.
As for the case in general, had the school upheld his suspension and dismissed him I believe he would have had a great case to sue the school for unfair dismissal as employment law trumps pronouns.
OH I got a promotion to the woke brigade! Exciting!
Just so we're clear, you think it's ok to kiss someone while they're asleep?
If you're talking about trans folks here, I've already linked to scientific articles on how it's beginning to show how they react to situations like people of their chosen sex do, not their given sex.... And that's biology ;)
He just broke a court order by once again returning to the school, so we'll see how long he is free for.
Also, you're right. However, it all started with him refusing to use the correct pronouns. Glad to see I continue to be correct about your abhorrent views though!
I don't think we need to engage each other further.
"Primary school students will be taught about different family models, while secondary school students will receive information about different sexual orientations and gender identities."
Again, where is the sexualisation or as you put it "perverted or abnormal behaviours"? Children in primary schools are being taught about different family structures, just as they're taught about different religions, cultures or ethnicities that they may encounter.
Sure, I agree that barely any child at 12 would be worried about being trans or gay or anything else but it's a very short time frame before they do worry about this. It's better to tackle it before it happens.
Indoctrination? Hyperbole.
Are you talking about Sleeping Beauty here?
Imagining how informing 11 year olds that some people live their lives differently could somehow prevent them from developing and growing naturally is beyond twisted
I always find it funny how people who are overly concerned what other people do in their own lives or with their own genetalia scream about the "wokes" or whatever.
Anything that remotely expresses decency and compassion for anyone who is in any way different seems to labelled “woke” these days. The could thing about the use of the term is that it immediately identifies the person who uses it as an insult as something who lacks any critical independent thought
You liked something that showed a few “trends”, hardly biological proof 🤣🤣
"Beginning to show..."
I didn't realize that reading comprehension is not your strong point, apologies.
So no actual biological proof? Anything peer reviewed?? Nothing??
Tbf they are always thinking of genitals. One of the offended here worked himself into a state when he thought Andrew Tates penis was insulted.
Someone making the choice to live as a different gender to their birth sex and not harming anyone is equivalent to pedophilia now is it?
Seriously twisted mindset

Nothing to object to here. Children aren't stupid and would take on board information about trans people as just another thing to learn about the world. When they are older, the very small number of people who are trans will understand what they are feeling and be able to verbalise it, while the rest of the kids will know what is going on and will be more likely to react appropriately to it.
It's adults that find this stuff hard to get their heads around, the children don't.
Yeh “the children” know more than “adults”.
Let’s give them responsibility? And take it away when they hit their teens, or something like that?
But this is nothing to do with telling people they are gay or trans.
Age appropriate education wouldnt be explaining the mechanics of transgenderism 🤣
I strongly suspect that as the science gets tighter we will indeed find Trans individuals to have Intersex brains. However I further and equally strongly suspect that the percentage found will be significantly lower than the currently guestimated and presenting Trans numbers today. The latter morre driven by current social forces and conflation of things like autism spectrum/ADHD/sexuality in many individuals. EG those who present as autistic are nearly eight times more likely to be gender diverse too.
What's the curriculum then?
Do you believe there something inherently wrong with telling children about the mechanics of transgenderism?
What exactly is so funny about it?
Well thats not true - many many trans people have some awareness of their identity from a young age
https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2019/01/young-trans-children-know-who-they-are/580366/
We already teach this in the curriculum. It’s called biology.
There are two genders. End of lesson.
They chose to react to situations that way. They’re well aware of how they’re acting.
@GreeBo @Fandymo @deirdremf
OK,you are ALL aware that me having on opinion is NOT my claiming to be an expert education behavioural scientist (which - to the best of my knowledge, none of ypu are either), right?
That having an option that you personally do not agree with does NOT mean that person is claiming to an expert?
And, YOU are aware that at least one petson who posted on this thread IS a teacher, right? (And guessing you've ignored or disagreed with because what does a teacher know about kids?!)
And you are ALL aware that, after all this you're beginning to sound a bit like Enoch Burke with all this 'you can't be a woman just because...."
Well, science has done it, politics is sealed the deal, culture has accepted it,
THat just leaves religion...
