Most Ukrainian entering know come by train and are brought to a main station area for them.
Here they get time to decide what to do before there journey continues if they decide
,rest sleep food cleaning facilities medical care are provided.
My village was doing it at the start but we soon became overwhelmed by the numbers coming.
Most Ukrainians I help didn't have much to say as they were still in shock.

Travelling down from Dublin on the train a few months ago, a Ukrainian lady and her 10 year old son happened to sit beside me in the carriage. She had little or no English, but her son had a fairly good grasp of it, so we were able to converse. Like your story, her husband was back in Ukraine fighting, and she was very worried about him. Her story was heart breaking......Home, Life everything destroyed. Lucky to have survived the murderous Russian attacks on her home town. And twice lucky to have arrived in Ireland, and placed with lovely family, who treated them as one of their own, and for which she is eternally grateful. But when she spoke about what was happening in her homeland, it would cut right through you.

The fact these are the first tanks to be supplied by the west tells us all we need to know about how serious they have been taking this so far.
