estrella galicia is the beer of choice here now. brewed in spain and absolutely lovely beer.

They seem to have taken it down from the website completely since Christmas, I believe they did the same last year when it was on offer. It usually finishes up tomorrow evening if it's on this year again. They didn't have a lot of it out last year, maybe 6-12 a day stocked first thing in the mornings and that was it.

FYI, 18 packs of 440ml cans of lager (coors/Bud etc) was £12 before Christmas. This worked out at pretty much half price compared to here. Last weekend this had increased by 33% to £16 per tray.

I see dunnes have an ad which says "lowest market price guaranteed" for beers and cider i.e. it's at minimum unit price. It's the first time I have seen wording like that. Before MUP came in I was predicting they all would be marketing it like that from the very start, strange it took so long. In general if you see some non-rounded price, like 21.37 then it is fairly likely to be at MUP, but not always.
Lots of their whiskey is at MUP again too.
