Nope, still too much guilt in the household regarding another dog, had to make an excuse to the pound and cancel.
As it turned out I’m back at work today in a different city, so also cruel collecting a new family member and leaving OH to take care of everything.

Got my final discharge from the outpatient department today! Leg is still a bit unsteady, but the doc & nurses agree that this will sort itself out in the coming weeks. I'm going to have to start shopping for some new shoes though...

Was actually a soft day thank god in work.
Had a fantastic toasted cheese, ham, chutney, mayo sandwich at lunch time. Last of the Christmas bits n pieces.

Just spent a (forced and surprise) 5 hours in close quarters with a few frienemies from the block, been roped into more of the same next week (God help me). Praying I didn't catch anything. Now eating a late night pizza and almost sick from it. ...In a few short hours, I must wake up early for a dreaded deadline chore, which I will not be up for. Fun times so far, 2023.
